Very happy with this TV so far. My old TV bit the dust after a long and happy 17 years. This one is a bit bigger. Wanted a larger screen due to eye/vision issues. The resolution is nice and the brightness is perfect. Contrast is good although I do feel it could be a bit crisper at times. I haven't watched anything on it yet that would fully demonstrate its full HD capabilities   Sound is good. The only thing I am not big on is the remote. It is difficult to read and the volume buttons can be a bit tricky. I tend to accidentally mute when I am trying to turn volume up or down. A minor thing overall. I would buy this TV again.

Great TV so far

Samsung Canada

I bought this 50" Crystal UHD U8000H 4K Samsung Vision TV for our very bright natural light little family room. It is great during the sunlight hours. All our streaming apps were easy to enter and easy guide for the apps on screen to use from the remote. Picture is bright and clear with no issues during this first month of use.

Great TV for very bright family room!

I bought this TV a couple of months ago to replace my old Samsung TV, which lasted almost 20 years! I've always found Samsung products to be very reliable, and most of the Samsung products I've owned have lasted well over 10 years, so I decided to stick with Samsung.

I'm really happy with this TV. The picture quality is excellent, and I love having the Smart TV features. It also comes with a variety of Samsung channels with different programs to watch, which is a nice bonus.

It was easy to set up and has been working great. I'm very happy with my purchase and, based on my past experience with Samsung, I'm hoping this TV will give me many years of use too!

High quality and reliable

The best tv we ever had. Clear and bright screen. Easy to set up. Amazing operative system with many apps. More than thousand channels that integrate very with your regular cable network. Watching movies in this huge screen is an fenomenal experience. 100% recommend it

The best to watch movies

couldn't be happier with this TV! The brightness is fantastic, making colors look vibrant even in a well-lit room. The contrast and black levels are sharp, creating rich detail during movie nights. Screen uniformity is spot-on with no dark spots, and the 4K upscaling works wonders to make older content crisp and modern. Navigation and smart features are incredibly swift, giving it impressive overall responsiveness. Absolutely 5-star quality!

One of the best choices

Only a couple of weeks ago.
Pros: best picture for the money. 
          user friendly
           integrates fine with most other devices
            decent stand alone sound.
             fairly use friendly set up

Cons:   could be slightly better from off centre viewing angles.
              big bummer when hooking to a non samsung sound bar.  No visible numbers

Hi. We just bought this TV about three weeks ago and so far are quite happy with it. Picture is great and there's a lot of options that go along with it. My only complaint is the remote control . It is too small and it does not light up in the dark. That's a hassle and I will probably have to replace it with a generic one . Aside from that, we are very happy with the TV so far.

Great TV!

Picture is wonderful, & overall the actual TV is pretty good, but one of the main reasons I bought this TV was that my deaf mother could wear Bluetooth headphones while I listened to the actual TV speakers.  I tried "ad nauseum" but couldn't get it work.  Actually, I will go as far as saying this feature is broken & if the TV wasn't on an island in the middle of a lake, it would be returned

Great picture, but...

I bought the TV about a month ago and have been very happy with it.  I especially like the Filmmaker Mode for watching movies.  I wish the unit had a Gaming setting for the picture quality.  I find that the black tones are spotty and pixelated sometimes but overall I'm very happy with the product.

Great value and features for the price.

This was a gift for my71st birthday I am very disappointed. One of the legs was not installed correctly and therefore the TV has a slight slant . 
There is also an area at the bottom of the screen that is a lighter shade that is only visible when there is a black screen .
