My 5 year old TCL flat screen TV's LEDs started flickering, and I wasn't about to wait for complete failure.  This Samsung TV is well-rated by Consumer Reports, and the WalMart price was highly competitive - beating just about everywhere I looked online. So, I grabbed one. I hung it on my TV table swivel stand.  This Samsung requires the shortest and fattest Vesa bolts - I forget the size.  Hookup was a snap.__________

I used the recommended picture settings from Consumer Reports for this model, and the picture is awesome! Whatever you do, don't keep the factory settings!! The "Standard" picture mode is so intensely bright that I thought the sun had risen in my family room! Now I have it set in the "Filmmaker" mode, along with the other recommended settings. The picture is beautiful.__________

Now, as for the so-called anti glare feature, don't believe it! The screen is as highly reflective as my last TV, which had no such claimed feature. But the claimed wide viewing angle is legit. My old TV lost picture quality at even the slightest off-center viewing angle. Not this Samsung! The color and contrast are virtually unchanged from even extreme angles.__________

The center stand is, in my opinion, far superior to the more common dual V-shaped legs. It enables the TV to safely stand on tables that aren't as wide as the TV itself. But, as I stated earlier, I mounted mine on the swivel stand I already had. The speaker quality is actually quite decent. However, I like theater-quality sound. So, I have a Harmon Kardon receiver paired to 5 Yamaha speakers and a Yamaha subwoofer - using an optical cable from the TV.__________

Overall, I think I got a great deal on an even greater Samsung flat screen 55" TV! You could spend a lot more for slightly better performance, I suppose, but this one is so good that I don't think the extra expense would be justified.

Lots Good - But One Claim Doesn't Measure Up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the 55" Samsung Neo Qled TV (my previous TV was a Samsung Qled) and the difference shows. If the images in Qled were wonderful, with the new Neo QLed, Samsung goes a step further in image and sound quality. The sound of this TV pleasantly surprised me. Such real images seem to go off the screen, excellent sense of depth and perfect contrasts and blacks. Samsung never disappoints.

Samsung never disappoints

Best TV we've ever had at a great price. Perfect size for our family room.  Set up to wifi a breeze.  Picture is remarkable. Sound is decent by itself but a sound bar is a must for the best immersive experience. We have only owned Samsungs since Digital tv came online in 2009. This is our 3rd and the first one is still alive and well and is now upstairs in a spare room.

Remarkable pictures! I prefer neo QLEDs to OLEDs since the display is much brighter and can see tiny details on the bright crisp screen. And it is IPS panel so you can watch from any angle.  VA panels are quite bad if you watch it from angles though their contrast is superior to IPS panels. Only this QN90C and QN85C has IPS panels at this midrange TVs on 2023 and 2024 line up. I have 2 of those at home.

Phenomenal TV

Clearly issues with product design and ease of connectivity from the manufacturer. This is not a Walmart problem but clearly a Samsung engineering issue. Had to modify cabling  in order to make connections due to lack of space to accommodate the terminations on the HDMI and Optical cabling. The joy of buying online can be fleeting due to the little things that cannot be inspected if not checked in person! Nothing like having to use an angle grinder to modify quality cabling to make the connections Other than that, happy so far with the product offered at a good price!

Samsung doesn't update software for its televisions or monitors. So you can buy a great TV like this one and learn that you'll get annoying pop-ups when using the Samsung TV Plus service that you can't turn off. So your review won't be about the incredible tech that goes into making these screens, but about Samsung's non-existent software support.

Great tech but don't expect any software updates

I'm not a fan of the titzen OS as I can not download apps to it. The on-screen volume controls can not be turned off (my samsung soundbar shows me the volume level). The ability to stay locked on a video source isn't there. As for the Picture quality it is excellent, but this model doesn't have anti-glare coating.

Not quite there.

Not exactly the best tv I ever owned. The refresh rate is slow and has a blur a lot of the times. The color is not all that great even after messing with the settings. I was hoping for the people and objects to pop of the screen and they don't. Would not buy this type of tv again. The only reason I gave it a 3 star is the sound is ok, but not great.

Not what I expected!

It's actually a great TV, unless one watches live TV channels over-the-air (OTA).  The built-in ATSC 3.0 tuner which was anticipated to be an improvement over the former ATSC 1.0 tuner, is actually much more sensitive and causes the picture to freeze, pixelate, and sometimes lose the signal entirely before coming back and then having the same thing happen over and over.  Sometimes the picture is good for a number of minutes and sometimes just a second before this happens again.  I've resorted to going downstairs to watch my old TV hooked up to just rabbit ear antennas in order to get a stable picture and avoid the immense frustration this TV is causing me, especially with sporting events, but regular programs, too, at times.

Beware of the ATSC 3.0 tuner

extremely disappointed. never received tv. after having arrival date changed a couple times. ended up in Shepherdsville ky where someone signed for it. i live in north platte ne. after 1 chat, a couple phone calls and a couple emails, i finally got my refund. i really wanted tv, because it was a nice tv and a great sales price. was practically called a lier in one email without sender coming out and using the word. very disappointed in whole situation
