I waited to leave a review until I had time to use it for a while. I do quite love it now that I paired it with a Samsung sound bar and subwoofer. And the artwork coming on with motion in the room is lovely. I wish there was more available without a subscription though. But overall it's quite terrific.

No regrets

I bought The Frame TV for my bedroom and it has been a great addition. The picture quality is crisp, bright, and detailed, with great contrast for watching movies and shows at night. One of my favorite features is how it blends into the room instead of looking like a big black screen—Art Mode gives the space a cleaner and more modern feel.

The interface is easy to use and overall the TV feels premium. It’s perfect for relaxing in bed, whether I’m streaming, watching TV, or just enjoying the aesthetic when it’s off. Very happy with this purchase.

Stylish Bedroom TV with Great Picture

The focal point to my new house is the 75 inch The Frame in our Social Room. As an amateur photographer I love to see the surprise looks that guests show as art suddenly changes. No one yet has initially thought that this wall was anything but art. Switching it from art to a live broadcast or a streaming service just produces wows at the clarity and color depth. The Smart features fit in well with other devices controlled by the Smartthings App.

Fantastic Frame Fools Friends

I purchased this tv because the room has lots of windows and the previous tv had serious reflections. The frame tv does not reflect at all and as a bonus, the install looks amazing (flat on the wall) and the sleep mode art has my guests thinking it's actually a picture.

More than just a TV

We are very happy with this TV. I love the no glare screen which doesn't reflect bright areas behind us when there are dark scenes. My wife is happy to show family pictures on the big screen. The 4K HD picture is great. We also can stream from other devices with ease.

I love how beautiful this TV is in my home and appreciate it as much, possibly more, when it’s turned off as I get to enjoy the beautiful art and family photo memories that enhance our space and bring joy to our lives. The TV itself is fantastic and makes watching shows on other TVs and noticeable downgrade. No regrets getting this. It’s a perfect upgrade.

The best

I truly loved this tv until the update a couple of months ago. Now, my Samsung remote will no longer work properly with my cable box no matter how many times I pare it.  Unfortunately I am unable to revert to the old operating system. Aggravating as I am back to using two remotes.

Great until the update

We love our TV! It only worked for 10 minutes the first day and then Samsung sent out lovely repairmen who fixed it under warranty and its been great ever since. We love the art function. It's still too bright for anyone to think it's actually art but it still brings us joy.

We like it but had to use the warranty first day

Just before the one-year anniversary, the motion sensor stopped working, leaving Art Mode on at all times.

The picture quality is acceptable, but the colour tones appear somewhat washed out. I also find that, regardless of how the brightness is adjusted, the screen still appears too bright.

The add-on bezel is also overpriced.

We have owned multiple Sony TVs over the years, including the one currently in our main viewing area, and have never experienced any issues with them. In fact, our Sony remains our primary television for everyday viewing.

We purchased Samsung The Frame mainly for the artwork feature, and in that regard it performs well — although I still consider it to be an overpriced feature.

I purchased a Samsung The Frame 55-inch (2020 model), a premium television that I was very happy with at first. Unfortunately, after only five years, it failed and is now stuck in a continuous reboot loop (Samsung logo appears, then the TV shuts off and restarts repeatedly).
I followed every troubleshooting step recommended by Samsung, including a full factory reset, but the issue remains unresolved. I am very disappointed with the lifespan of such an expensive premium TV and with the lack of a satisfactory solution from the manufacturer.
I hope my experience helps future buyers make an informed decision.
