These type of SSD's are the only brand/type of memory storage device hat I use while running my plex media server.
Every previous spinning hard disk drive that I have ever owned has failed and lost memory. Even the few actual solid state drives that were not made by Samsung eventually died on me. 
Years later after having built this media server the only working drives left are all SSD's and all made by Samsung.
Haven't failed me yet so no point trying to fix or change something that's not broken.
I run about 12 samsung SSD's ranging from about 2TB - 4TB each.
Not to mention the search and loading times I can  pull off becuase of these, still has my friends feeling jealous. compared to their systems.

Product was very reliable and responsive I never had to work about it randomly shutting down or not working. 10/10 product I loved my experience with it and will continue to by similar Samsung Products. It has a surprisingly fast speed rate so I knew I could trust it when my getting my tasks done on time!

Magnificent Quality

I bought the 1TB Samsung 870 EVO to replace an aging mechanical hard drive in an old desktop, and the difference is night and day. Boot times went from minutes to just seconds, and apps open instantly. Installation was incredibly easy, and the free Samsung Magician software made cloning my old drive a breeze. It completely maxes out the speed limits of a SATA connection. Samsung is the king of SSD reliability, so the 5-year warranty gives me total peace of mind. Highly recommended if you need a 2.5-inch drive!

Super fast drive

Works exactly like you would want and would expect and have never had a problem with it. To be honest I forget about owning it for.the most part bc it works so well. I never have had issues with it so I never have to pay much attention to it which in all honesty is a great thing!!!

The ultimate drive for huge file libraries

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I installed the Samsung 870 EVO 1TB SSD in my desktop PC and immediately noticed faster startup times compared to my previous storage drive. Applications open quickly, games load faster, and moving large files between folders is smooth and responsive.
I use this SSD daily for storing documents, media files, and several games. The 1TB capacity gives me enough room without constantly having to manage storage space. Installation was simple, and the drive was recognized by my system right away.

Excellent Speed and Long Term Reliability

Speed, Gaming, overclocked, capacity, semiconductor, reliability durability performance.....nuff said it really is crazzy fast this is my first ssd pc and its smaller than a ram stick and the pcs almost instantly boot up its really crazy and it makes old games i play like world of warcraft and makes it an amazing experience that barley takes up 5gb......LOOTFTW

SSD M.2 EPICLY FAST

Reliable

Samsung Memory

After 18 months, I've got 258 bad sectors. I got up today, thought something was awry with my PC. I was going to clone the Samsung to another branded SSD, and my computer started printing AAAAAA all over the screen. That was when I knew something was crazy. I did manage to get it cloned, although, it took forever, thanks to the bad sectors. After I got done cloning, I left the Samsung 870-EVO in place, and did the surface test. I could not believe my eyes. I probably would have left 3 stars, but I cannot, for the life of me, figure out, how to send this into Samsung for warranty replacement. I has warranty until 2026, but how do I go about getting in to Samsung for replacement. I'm sure I need an RMA number. Any help would be great.

Clunker after 18 months.
