The endurance rating is awesome, latency and thermals exceed expectations.  Throughout both during burst and sustained reads and wrights is amazing!

The best NVME money can buy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Samsung 990 Pro 2TB variant in 2024 and the speeds were super fast paired with my Asus ROG Strix G16 gaming unit. Read and write speeds were always consistent and the Samsung Magic app is a nice touch to check the drive's temps and keep it up-to-date with the latest firmware, very efficient piece of software. I have had no issues and failures with the drive over the past 2 years of purchasing it and it has moved between 2 devices so I would figure it is very reliable. 
My next investment is to get the 9100 Pro 8TB variant to store my huge catalogue of video content.

The best of the best M.2 Drive

The thermals are okay on the drive, as the drive does run hot, but it holds fine in my SFF PC. It is a consistent and efficient drive that allows a lot of quick low-latent whenever my system needs it!

Installation was quick and easy, and the performance improvement was immediately noticeable. My PC boots in seconds, applications load almost instantly, and file transfers are incredibly fast. The drive stays cool under normal workloads, and I've experienced consistent performance without any slowdowns. Fast, Reliable, and Worth Every Penny!!!

Failure after failure.  Windows will crash.  On re-start BIOS cannot find the drive.  Samsung support has told me this is a known issue, but they keep replacing the drive - I'm on my 5th one.  Time for me to buy a better brand.
