We got this one when covid hit to keep the kids busy while we are working from home! Super easy to set up and use. Can't go wrong.

Great for kids!

I bought this item recently and it works great and delivered on time! Thank you

Works super well

More then I could have expected for such a low price. People who complain about the quality of the pictures it takes have never taken a photo with a tablet before lol or complaining about the quality of the screen? You knew what screen you were getting when you purchased, just purchase a higher end tablet then no? This one has ample storage.and 2 gigs of ram is perfect for any game I play!

Amazing tablet!

Tab A Samsung 8 inch 32gb Tablet 2019

Good Tab

I purchased this device for my travel needs. Fits perfectly in my bag, great size and durability.
The thing I'm not a fan is lack of HD display it can only go up to 720p video etc. Also this device doesn't support USB Type C which kinda sucks because my other Galaxy devices all support Type C (other than my iPad 9.7)
Overall good device for reading, watching Netflix and listening to music. Bonus this device has headphone jack!
I'm really hoping that this device will be upgraded to Android 10 in near future.

Great alternative to the iPad mini.

It came super fast and on schedule. Superb quality.

Quality

I bought this for my 8yo and it's ok for his needs. I primarily bought it as I thought the expandable memory could be formatted and used as internal memory. Apparently Samsung disabled this portion of Android so it can only be used as portable memory. Not sure why you'd do this to devalue an otherwise perfectly good tablet. The way apps grow now, 32 GB is barely enough room, especial when the OS takes 10 of them, right out of the box. This would be a 5*product if the external memory could be used too expand the internal memory. It's not like the SD card ever comes out once it's put in anyway.

All that said, it runs well and my son loves it. It doesn't seem slow and the apps open pretty quickly. Netflix movies look good on the screen.

Ok, but lacking

Received as gift. It's inexpensive, but performs poorly. Everything takes a long time. Opening apps and surfing the web are a slow process. Screen looks mostly ok but is low resolution, We have a OLD Lenovo 8" tablet that still out performs this in every way. Even the older Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet does better.

I guess when the Android tablet market has mostly disappeared, manufacturers can do whatever they want.

Tablets have gone backwards!

I bought this for use as a cheaper portable tablet for travelling. Basic tasks only like web browsing and netflix, etc. It runs things fine from this point of view, I experienced some minor lagging and stuttering but definitely usable and acceptable for the price. My biggest letdown was the screen. The 8" 800p screen is sub-par, especially since Samsung chose to use a TFT screen over IPS?!?!?!?!?!?!? For the sake of another hour of battery and $20 savings it is NOT worth it. The TFT screen looks ok, not great but ok, but with motion you get blurring and stuttering and the viewing angles are horrid. Samsung makes some of the best small screen panels in the world (AMOLED) and they chose to stick a TFT panel in this? All other competitors use IPS for a reason.

Basic but decent value, bad screen.

The reason im giving it a 2 stars, the product does not come with 32 gb ram. Like the product specilations says. Its 2gb ram with 32gb storage, i was fooled by the advertisement.

2 stars because of walmarts mistake in label specs
