I bought this 2 years ago and has never disappointed. I've knocked it plenty of times and has no scuffs dents or scratches. The battery life lasts 15 hours plus. It's never died on me. It took me a few weeks for my wrist to get used to it since i stopped wearing watches years ago but like everything else I adapted.  I am now looking for a second Samsung watch that would offer a more classy sophisticated thinner look.

I find the 42mm LTE to be a very practical watch. It's nice to leave my S9+ at home if I'm heading out for a night on the town. Just call a taxi from my wrist. Samsung Health app and this watch a a match made in heaven.

A great watch

Been using this watch for a year. Very versatile functionality and diverse user settings, almost a full smart-phone substitute. Cumbersome/limited web browsing its only real limitation. Some fitness tracking was definitely a bit off initially, but recent software upgrades pushed automatically have markedly improved performance - floor count remains iffy. Fully waterproof - I swim laps with it all the time. Bezel metal could be a bit more scuff resistant, but glass and overall build quality seems high.

Minor complaint: some fitness functions on the mobile Samsung Health app are not native on the watch itself (ie alpine skiing).

Major complaint: if you live in Canada, the e-SIM card will only work if you currently use a Samsung smartphone. In the USA and many countries in Europe, you can use the Galaxy Watch LTE as an independent phone, regardless of which brand of smartphone you own. But in Canada, if you don't use a Samsung smartphone, you're stuck with Smartwatch calls/texts dependent on bluetooth connectivity. Samsung needs to work this out with Canadian carriers. If it wasn't for this issue, I'd give the product 5 stars.

almost a full substitute for a smart phone

Ive had the Samsung watch  I think first series, generally about the same,nothing really different that catches my attention so so I guess

The watch is great and has a lot of great features on it ! However ive had some issues with it tracking me as riding a bicycle when im driving in my car and the weather not updating properly from time to time ! I love that its water resistant and that i can text and call from it ! However the battery only lasts about 15 hours before it dies or i have to put it into battery saving mode !

Good

I bought this a month ago already had it replaced.  The battery is terrible does not last a day.  I work 12 hour shifts so step counter is high.  Dont know what is killing this battery.  Cant track sleep because battery wont last.

Like lte

I just bought this watch less than 5 days ago and I am very disappointed to the point I am seriously thinking of returning it.  It was bought as a birthday present because I have wanted one for a while now.  I work ten hour days and the battery is dead long before my day is over.  I bought it to monitor my steps and to keeps me active on the job and it has failed.  For a watch that costs as much as this one did you think it would last longer and then to see you are coming out with a new one, and taking into the fact about this ones battery is like a slap in the face.  I have never been so disappointed with a product that cost so much money in my life.  I would not buy a new one and I am seriously considering never buying a samsung product again and switching to Iphone.

As a Smartwatch, it performed well. As a fitness tracker, everything was off. A lot! I returned it after two weeks.
