Ease Of Use

I am not sure why folks are saying it doesn't work with MacOS.  I am in Catalina and set up was a breeze.   I have a handful of T5's and I am very impressed with this.   The fingerprint security works great with iPadOS.   In fact, its the only way to hook a secure drive to an iPad right now.  Can't recommend enough.

Blew expectations!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Samsung SSD saved my memories! My videographer for my wedding closed his doors and during the pandemic and we thought we lost our wedding video. Luckily, I was able to retrieve our video and download 9 hours worth of 4k video along with the edited version to my Samsung SSD. It's secure and I am more than confident I will have my memories forever!

I used a windows machine to install the software and configure the device.  I then uninstalled the software.  You need the software to unlock the device if the fingerprint needs setup or changing (or the finger is unavailable).  Once you don't use the software everything works as expected.  I was warned the software was iffy on a Mac so I configured the device on a pc.  I have no issues bouncing back and forth.  I keep my VMs on the SSD and bounce between a windows workstation in the office and a Mac workstation at home.  No special software on either.
