Sound Quality

Bass Performance

I bought this samsung q990 f 1 week ago.didnt get time to plug it on.and today i plugged it on and played the 1st song. The 1st thing came in my mind was to thank the samsung team who made this music system the best. I know there are many more music system brands out there for sure. But this was my best experience of my life to listen music soooo clearly. Each and every music sounds were crystal clear. and the bass ooohhhhh my god, my room was shaking. Proud to be using samsung products no matter what the world says. Its THE BEST.
Thank you once again the samsung team who made this music system a great success

The best crystal clear audio system

Samsung Canada

We bought this as recommended by our son. It replaced our corded 7.1 system. WOW 😮... What a difference! The sound quality is incredible. We would highly recommend this type of system to anyone looking for top-of-the-line quality without the hassle of all the wires etc.

Excellent system

Super happy with the Samsung HW-Q990F. The sound is amazing—really full, clear, and immersive, especially with the rear speakers and subwoofer. Movies feel like a theater experience, and the bass is strong without being too much. Setup was easy too. Overall, excellent sound and totally worth it 👍

Amazing Sound Quality – Totally Worth It!

We had not bought a new sound system for many years. This Q990F reviewed well and was I our price range. We love the system, it's very clear, there is excellent separation between the instruments while listening to music. For movies we like how it integrates with the Samsung TV and also the dialogue enhancement options. The sound is very immersive during streaming shows and movies, very fun. Much better than TV speakers alone. Well worth the investment.

Excellent sound!

I bought the sound system 6months ago just amazing all the features and the sound and the bass is out of this world .calibration was very easy and the app was so helpful best sound system on the market

Amazing sound

Bought this unit last month, had PSB and Polk floor standing standing higher end speakers with AV amp.
My wife did not want large speakers in the room and wires were unsightly.
I reviewed and even bought a Sony soundbar 3.1 system which was ok but came nowhere close to tge sound I was used to.
Went out and bought this Samsung set and after testing for weeks I am satisfied.
Sound quality and amplification were good. The phone based app was nice and somthing I didn't have before, found it useful.
Dual firing tunable sub was nice, finally a sound bar sub with the level of bass a nice 10 or 12 inch powered sub would bring to the party. Main sound kept solid clear sound with no distortion at any level. Powered ear speakers did not come with any wall mounts so I found two two 3 inch machine bolts that fit and cut the heads off streaded one end into the speaker and the other into a hole I drilled into a wall stud. I had to spin the speaker to screw into wall but it worked perfectly. The rear speaker add sonething I was missing with my 3.1 setup, power cords are unsightly but not horrible.
Music sounds very good as does 5.1 and 11.1 sound. First sound bar that matches floor standing performance albeit with using 20+ speakers in adapative mode.

Finally replaced my old Audiophile system

I bought this to replace a large 5.1 surround sound system with poor voice audio.
This unit is exceptional I find especially with the voice audio. We frequently have to turn it down when we get shows with full surround sound audio as it becomes too loud so highly recommend this unit. Small satellites are great. Center Channel seems to be exceptional

features and sound

Had for approximately 3 months. Still learning about all the different sound modes and options. Very happy with the sound. You can crank it way up and still cristal clear. The base is pretty good. But wish it had a little more boom.

Lots of sound options

The sound is very good, it is much better than what I expected. I also compared the sound with another soundbar from a very well known and wide spread brand. Samsung's has a much clearer and balanced sound.

Better than what I expected

DO NOT BUY: FIRMWARE CAUSES CONSISTENT SOUND DROPOUTS. Save money and buy from other brands! Samsung pushed a firmware update that caused this issue, and they haven't acknowledged the issue or pushed a fix for this!
