Features a lightweight and easy-to-operate interface.

Can be sleek and slim, but also flawed in functionality.

Solar battery does not keep the charge. It worked well for about one year but since then the battery get drained in less than one hour. The usb charger works, so now I use the remote corded. It works but very inconvenient. I will not buy again.

Great remote that doesn't need to be charged. Just turn it and the solar cell will charge the remote. The layout of the top buttons is also good, but what I'm deducting points for is the forced third-party services. I hate this imposition. I don't need to have Netflix, Rakuten, Prime and other streaming services. Also, the position of these buttons is such that they can be pressed by mistake. Give us customizable buttons that the user defines themselves, or the ability to uninstall services and thus deactivate the buttons.

Devices with streaming service advertising

Overall remote is Too small, no backlight illumination and not enough features, buttons are small as well. Can you make a better one, with backlighting , bigger. Buttons and a little larger with a few additional features, still keeping it sleek and non overwhelming .

Samsung needs to rethink the copy and paste remote

my solar remote is not working when unplugged from charging. when plugged in, getting a notification on tv mentioning, remote battery is fully charged and remote is working fine. immediately once the remote is unplugged and access the tv, it doesn't work. i tried all options mentioned in the repair section, but it behaves as above. in my 30 years of exp, first remote i see which doesn't work, is this remote. other remotes, either buttons doesn't work or broken but this remote looks fancy but its a big scam.

Solar Remote - Not working

I bought a samsung frame tv last years and we alwlays had problem with the remote, dont charge with the solar panel, really hard to charge with a cable, they told me that the accessoires dont have the warranty anymore. We gonna never buy again a tv with solar remote. I see so much bad review with the remote but they dont do anything so we gonna go with another compagny for the next tv.

I uses only 6months and after that remote does not charging via usb-c or solar. Already made reset, reconnect and etc. 
Its huuuge fail and it should be recognized as defective and must be replaced. I will appeal to consumer rights!

DO NOT BUY!

Horrible remote, too small and complicated for older mom to use. She has to use old remote with buttons but only can access a limited amount of channels.

Horrible for older adults

If I could give no stars I would. This remote is awful. It is too generic with less features. The up/down arrows no longer work. The back button takes me to pages I don't want. I would love to be able to use my original Samsung remote.

Solar recharge does not work

We have 85" and 75" TVs both with a SolarCell Remote. I love these remotes. The design and operation are both simple and efficient. Minimum amount of buttons that basically serve multi function. Never need to replace batteries, just turn it solar planal up when not in use and it charges itself.
