Loved this case for 7 months. A very clever and well executed design, great material (I got the white one and it never looks dirty, it doesn't slip, almost perfect — more on that later). I always buy the Samsung cases because their engineering is precise, very thoughtfully tuned to the phone's features and design details, and this one delivered. The naked phone's edges are vastly improved by this case; its fun to carry, feels good, looks good, goes right into your pocket yet has a flexible stand built in. 

Here's the rub: it lasted only about 6 months. That's longer than the (90d?) warranty, but it's clearly a materials flaw. I only used the phone indoors, no rough treatment. The band on the back — its main feature — is ripping, with no practical chance of repair. On the front, I noticed in the first week that simply removing the case and re-installing caused its frame to tear and chip.

I'm giving it 4 stars because I was so in love with it at first. I'm considering buying it again, so soon, which is why I'm back to this store today. But the price being high as it is, has got me considering other options.

Only lasted around 4 months until the silicone/rubberized coating of the case started peeling and chipping away.

Good concept, bad material choice

The case is ingenious with that strap that works as a stand. I REALLY liked it a first. But real life usage is showing it is poor quality. 4-5 month later, wear on the corners appeared and the rubber started peeling/tearing more and more. I had to buy a cheaper alternative from another brand.
