Performance & Connectivity: Transfer speeds are insane — I'm consistently hitting 950-1050 MB/s reads and writes on my Galaxy S25 Ultra and laptop with the included USB-C cable. Large video files, photo libraries, and system backups finish in seconds instead of minutes. It works flawlessly with my Samsung ecosystem — plug-and-play on the S25 Ultra, no drivers needed.
Cooling & Resistance: Even during sustained large file transfers it stays surprisingly cool compared to other SSDs I've used. No throttling, just steady high performance. It's also IP65 water and dust resistant, which gives me peace of mind.
Durability: This thing is built like a tank. Drop-tested up to 2 meters, shock-resistant, and compact enough to toss in my work bag or go-bag. I've been carrying it daily and it shows zero signs of wear.

Durable. High speed transfer. Portable. I've had zero issues connecting this to my laptop, my phone, and my tablet. It seamlessly connects and provides excellent storage that i can use to offload from my phone, store,  and move to a larger drive. And I got it before the massive price increase.

Exactly what I wanted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Samsung T7 shield 1 TB SSD for storing my wedding photos and some of the photos and videos from my trekking in the Himalayas of Nepal. So the one I got hasn't had any connectivity issues or any heating issues. I have not dropped it once so I don't really know and can't speak on the resistance, but I would hope that it stays intact. The red and white speed is as labeled. It is quite fast and it is more than enough for my case.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Samsung T7 Shield 4TB with my Xbox Series X for about a year and a half, and it has been reliable the entire time. I use it to store the majority of my game library, and the large 4TB capacity has given me plenty of space without having to constantly manage storage.

The drive is compact, easy to set up, and has performed consistently since I purchased it. File transfers are quick, and I haven't experienced any issues with data loss or drive failures. The rugged exterior also feels durable and provides a good grip when moving it between locations.

After extended use, I can say this has been a dependable storage solution for gaming. If you need additional space for a large game collection, the T7 Shield offers excellent capacity, performance, and durability in a portable package.

Great Storage Expansion for XBox Series X

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its a solid ssd pun not intended it has issues with formatting some times hence the 4 star review but samsung magic dose catch most issues. I havent had any issues traveling with it so its nice that I can go far distance with out braking. Its a fast ssd and thats nice but it dose get white hot to get there. Transferring data to and from it works just fine ive had some issues with it on Linux but If your just doing the basic work. Ive has it for a few years now so it is quite resilient. Overall really solid product.
