Really great external ssd .
Durable. High speed transfer. Portable. I've had zero issues connecting this to my laptop, my phone, and my tablet. It seamlessly connects and provides excellent storage that i can use to offload from my phone, store,  and move to a larger drive. And I got it before the massive price increase.

Exactly what I wanted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using the Samsung T7 shield 1 TB SSD for storing my wedding photos and some of the photos and videos from my trekking in the Himalayas of Nepal. So the one I got hasn't had any connectivity issues or any heating issues. I have not dropped it once so I don't really know and can't speak on the resistance, but I would hope that it stays intact. The red and white speed is as labeled. It is quite fast and it is more than enough for my case.

Great portable SSD for ready to go use.

I use it to store the majority of my game library, and the large 4TB capacity has given me plenty of space without having to constantly manage storage.

The drive is compact, easy to set up, and has performed consistently since I purchased it. File transfers are quick, and I haven't experienced any issues with data loss or drive failures. The rugged exterior also feels durable and provides a good grip when moving it between locations.

After extended use, I can say this has been a dependable storage solution for gaming. If you need additional space for a large game collection, the T7 Shield offers excellent capacity, performance, and durability in a portable package.

Great Storage Expansion for XBox Series X

I already know Samsungs products last, and have great performance, but I wanted to make sure this one would be tough as well! Have not been disappointed! While being almost ridiculously small for its 2TB, its fully wrapped in a casing that almost screams 'drop me! I dare ya' While I haven't yet, partially since that casing also creates a anti-slip feature, it was purchased to hold car software for my laptop, so its not always handled that nice, often in a rush to setup, look something up, and go back to work.. dirty, grimy hands, swapping from usb to usb c ports depending on laptop, sitting in whatever weather, whereever I set up, has never been an issue! It's always ready to grab and go!

This thing is a Beast! Always ready to GO!

Owned it for a couple years now and has been pretty durable. Fast transfer speeds and never had any problems. Does get a little warm when transferring large files at the max speed but hasn't affected its performance in any way.
