Good case and it stands differently like other cases. Still a good choice :)

Bought this with my new tab s9 on checkout, after using it for quite a while my experience is that it's not a well thought out product, maybe the designer had a different use scenario in mind than mine but, it's major sticking points, is that it's very heavy, and it's uncomfortable to hold after a little while, this is insult to injury because of the added weight.  Basically the edges of the case are "sharp" and dig in to the skin, and with the weight it makes it worse. Its premium feeling and doesn't feel cheap, if you always intend to use the tablet on a desk then it's just fine, but there are cheaper cases that do the same and offer more protection and weigh overall less, I'm also not a big fan of how the s pen is held but really not a big issue outside of aesthetics.

Not very usable

I already have a Samsung S9 FE and the Samsung Book Cover Keyboard. So for my second S9 FE tablet I opted for the Samsung Smart Book Cover instead for the one I travel with, (not needing the keyboard when out and about). What I was expecting was the cover only would be the same as the keyboard one in function and useability. It is not, the book cover only is not stable, does not securely support the keyboard, and the back does not stay attached, too small a magnetic area. Can't even use it, it just falls off every time I even touch it. What a waste of money, should have bought the cheaper aftermarket one. Very disappointed, expected a functional book cover like the keyboard one on my other tablet.

Poorly designed

Thank goodness that this case was "free" with my S9 purchase.  If it wasn't I'd be returning it.  The S8 book cover case is way better, (other than the camera cut-out, the S8 book cover fits the S9 tablet perfectly).  On the S9 book cover the S pen cover flap is an interesting idea but it bulges so it isn't great for tablet storage as things won't sit flat on top of the tablet.  The folding section is pretty mediocre.  It only provides one viewing angle, whereas the S8 book cover at least offers two viewing angles.  It's also poor for lap holding as the fold lands on a very narrow area thus making the S9 wobbly.  Overall, I cannot recommend this case.  Samsung, you can do way better!

This case is just goofy.

I bought this last month and I have hated the product ever since. The design is very bad. It does not lay flat against the table, and it is hard to write on. The stand is difficult to set up, and you can't adjust it. If you like writing on your tablets at a slight angle like other cases do not buy this case, because you can only write on it flat. This means that I can't see the screen at all because all I can see is the reflection of the light bulbs.

This case is not worth its price.
