We bought this tv to replace a Sony that we had for a short time and not really satisfied with its quality. It was bought brand new bud its lifetime was very limited. The screen went black with a line down the middle one evening during a movie night. After some research and word of mouth we decided to buy this on a recommendation from friends who purchased the same television. We are very satisfied with all it’s qualities and options.

It is hard to believe that we finally upgraded from our 43" SAMSUNG Plasma TV from the old days to this awesome 65" Samsung smart TV. Such a great choice as we were considering a 55" at first but glad we went with the 65". Having a young child in the family we take advantage of the Kareoke and games, everything is so sharp and clear and we love the interactive interface. We love that we can navigate the TV from our phone, no more Google Chrome that is consistently inconsistent. We love the variety of shows and movies on Samsung Plus and how easy it was to sign in to all of our Media streaming platforms.  The color is perfect and can be adjusted depending on what we are watching. The brightness is also good and can be adjusted based on our preferences. Of course going from an old small Plasma TV to this giant "movie theatre" style screen had been an adjustment, but a very positive one, when taking into account the resolution and how crisp everything is. Overall we are very satisfied with this awesome immersive experience and how easy it was to set everything up when we first turned on the TV.

Awesome Upgrade to 'Movie Theatre" experience!

Love this TV!  ABSOLUTELY HATE the remote control for it.  The remote is one and a half inches wide and 6 1/4 inches long. The buttons are all black as is the remote with very small white or colored symbols on it. I have vision impairment and find it almost impossible to navigate using the remote. Would not recommend it to anyone that does not have perfect eyesight. But the television itself is excellent. .

Fabulous TV – abysmal remote

I found that picture is very clear , brightness is excellent as is contrast. Color is great
The remote use is somewhat unclear,settings like voice control , some channels are louder than others and it is not clear in the setup menu on how to correct this. Also there is no choice as to what sound input is, dts,etc.Is this TV too smart for ma? My last Samsung was not a smart tv but more available choices in setup. Also the remote is not user friendly. Are there better user manuals for this tv?

My new Samsung

We’ve had this tv for a few months now. Image can be really clear, but can also become incredibly pixelated. Disconnects from internet often (I have other devices and have never had this issue before). Not overly impressed with the quality. Maybe it’s a lemon, but it’s certainly not worth the hype.

Not overly great

Purchased in December 2025. Very belle definition of the image. Ignition is done at the channel Samsung from which it is impossible to change the directives of the guide and the instructions specific to Samsung. Very few input or output jacks for a TV of this price. It is possible to find better for the price.

Television with limited functionality.

Got this TV not too long ago and it does what it wants. It doesn’t stay on or doesn’t connect to the apps or HDMI devices. Turns on and off as it pleases and doesn’t respond either. This is why I don’t purchase Samsung TVs but I thought I’d give them another chance. This proves I never should’ve

Don’t waste your time

I bought this TV to replace a TV that would no longer work with my Bose soundbar. When I checked the model online, the specs indicated it had an optical cable port. When I got it home and unpacked it, I discovered it had no optical cable port and could not connect to my Bose soundbar. I’m faced with either purchasing a HDMI/Optical cable converter (which may have less than optimal performance) or purchasing a different soundbar. I am not impressed. 

Setup took hours due to difficulties connecting with Rogers and pairing with the Rogers remote. It was not straight forward and was extremely frustrating. Based on my experience, I will never purchase another Samsung TV.

Big Mistake

I hate how my new TV interacts with my Bell Fibe service. It seems like there is a competition between the devices. Sometimes it takes 10 minutes to fire up the Fibe service. The process is never the same and it is beyond frustrating. All of this hype about Smart TVs - I don't think so. What happened to power up and watch - no, no, Android has to wake up and recognize the Bell service - sometimes. There are time when i have to turn off the power 5 times, even had to unplug the Bell device at times.
