I'm struggling to understand the poor / negative reviews for this product.  I have had one on my bedside table for 7 years now.  It has faithfully charged my S9 phone, then my S22, and my Galaxy watch 1 ever since.  It is still in daily use for my S22.   I have just reluctantly traded up my Watch 1 for Watch 8 Classic…..  it remains to be seen if this charger will handle the new watch.  I hope so, it's a great item.

Just found out about this device a few days ago and I had to give it a try. I hate having to fumble around for a charging cable for my phone and now I have one place that can charge my phone and my Gear S3 at the same time, or my wife and I can charge our phones at the same time. This is excellent

Finally, one convenient charging location!

I got this as a preorder bonus with my Galaxy Watch. There are a whole lot of bad reviews on this thing because of charging issues with the Gear S3 (I think they fixed by now). For me, it works really well. I use it all the time with my s9+ and watch and I find it to be a better wireless charger than just the single Qi charger they offer. I have that one too, but it's really picky on positioning. Also, with the single charger, a lot of times you couldn't see the LED because the phone was on top of the charger. With the Duo, they put the lights on the side, which solves that. 

Overall, it's a good charger, but the price is pretty high. Don't think a wireless charger justifies that price point.

Working well, but pricey

Im sure it's a good product, as I find Samsung products are, however, be aware that this charger, on the upright stand, will NOT maintain a charge, through thigh cases, such as OtterBox. I found this to be true of all upright stations I have gotten from Samaung. In also found the flat station WILL charge through the case, appearantly, as it can then reach the "sweet spot" of the charger on the phone.
The watch charger, will not charge an S2 type watch, which I learned, only after the purchase. My fault, I guess, for not enough research.
I will add this, for those of you who have trouble with thick case, and upright chargers, the problem seems to be the bottom of such cases appears too extended, or thick, and raises the phone above the sweet spot, thus a flat charger can still work, or , possibly, another brand, however, I removed the rubber "lip" on the bottom of the upright charger, and found the "Otter Box" case was then low enough for the "sweet spot". For what it's all worth. Samsung products are good, but just make sure you get the right one for your needs.

My old wireless charging comfortable worked great with my case. This duo will sometimes but mostly not. I have to remove the case to charge. As for the watch, you better have some light and put it on perfectly centered. Even 1mm off and it will not charge

Picky

I purchased this 3 weeks ago specifically to duo charge my Note 8 and Gear 3. The phone charges with no issues but the Gear 3 does not fully charge. When I wake up in the morning the watch is hot and on 1%. I have to use the charger that came with the watch. I am returning this product.

Gear 3 doesn't charge.

This wireless charger caught my eye because of the ability to use it in stand mode, compared to the older models.  After trying it out, it leaves things to be desired.

The charger is useful at its most basic function and it's nice to have an integrated cooling fan.  I had no problems charging the phone using a Tech21 case.  Although the charging base is quite big, that doesn't bother me as I'm using it on my nightstand and was looking forward to using it as a dock clock while the phone charges overnight.  The charging indicator lights are also useful and thankfully, not bright enough to cause discomfort.  However, for the price of this unit, my gripes are more than my pleasures.

For one, like others have mentioned, it's rather difficult to place the Gear S3 for charging.  If not perfectly aligned, it won't charge.  This is especially true at night, when you have to turn on a light source to see the placement and wake up whomever is in the room with you or alternatively, fumble around incessantly until you see the charging light turn on.  Also, I have a bracelet band on my Gear S3 which requires I lift the charging dock on one end that will then sit crooked while the watch is charging.  Come on Samsung, you know there's bracelets for the watch and your charger does not accommodate this???

Also, this unit is among the slowest, wireless fast-charging capable chargers.  Better than traditional slow charging but kind of disappointing that Samsung is at the rear of the pack in this regard.

Another issue is the length of the USB-C cord is short.  I had to use an extension cord so that I can plug the charger in behind the middle of the bed and place the charger on my nightstand.  Not a big deal but given this is not a travel charger, it seems obvious that in many cases an outlet might be farther away than the length of the provided cord.

Finally, for the price point I would expect additional features, such as a dock clock/music player to activate upon the phone being placed on the dock, maybe even a loudspeaker for playing music while charging.

In sum, it is a functional dock but for its price it should accommodate additional creature comforts such as drop-in charging for watches with bracelet bands, a self-centering design for the watches and built-in app activation.  Without those features, it should cost half as much.

On a different note, thank you, Samsung for not having included a beeping alarm when devices reach full charge.

Could be much better for the price

The wireless phone charging side works well, but when I put my watch on the opposite charging pad, it takes some maneuvering to find the watch charger and does not charge it 100%.  Also, the watch gets noticeably hot while it is on the charging station.

The watches normal charging station works fine and the watch does not get hot, so it is not a defective watch..

Does not charge the Gear3 watch properly

Using the charger duo for my note 9 is great. It does it's job well in that aspect, but it is horrible for my gear S3. The watch overheats while a red flashing symbol of an exclamation mark within a triangle kept appearing and alerting me to use an original Samsung wireless charger. I left it to charge with 80% and when I checked on it 30mins later, the charge dropped to 61%.

Too bad this got delivered months before my Note 9 and watch, now I can't return it.
The phone charger side works fine however the watch side is a disaster. I put my watch on it with about 25% charge left in it and the next morning I have 0% charge. The magnet to hold the watch is very weak and this thick watch just floats off charge circle and you wake up in the morning to a dead watch.

Sadly disappointed
