[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OK after receiving this table and getting it out of the box I will say it took a bit to put it together, once together it appears to be very strong with good solid solid legs and should last quite a while. It is a lovely piece for our sitting room. I can say yes I would recommend this for any one who wants a nice table with added drawers/shelf.

Beautiful Coffee Table

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Because I have whitewashed oak in my living room and dining room, I thought this table would match better than it does. The color of the 'wood' is not the light oak color shown in the picture. The veneer is somewhat darker than shown in the photo. Upon assembling the piece, I discovered that the components are thin and made of mostly particle board. I appreciate that the parts are labeled clearly and the instructions are easy to follow. However, the hardware supplied didn't fit together as well as it should have. I had to adjust some of the bolts several times, which ultimately caused one of the legs to split a bit. Although I was careful in following the assembly directions provided, the table cracked slightly as soon as I turned it upright. It wasn't very noticeable due to the 'grain' in the wood so I shored it up with wood glue and the cracks cannot really be seen. The table looks nice in the living room, although I don't believe wholeheartedly that it will last a very long time. Since we no longer have young children or a lot of visitors in the house, I'm not concerned about damage if someone leans on it, but I wouldn't suggest using it in a high traffic area or piling it up with heavy books. The design of the table is rustic looking and would look best in an informal setting.

Nice table for the money, but not very well made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Over all it is a very handsome coffee table. Assembled dimensions: 19.7"h x 42.2"w x 22.5"d. It is heavy weighing about 61 lbs. The storage drawer is an added plus. It helps keep your table top clean from clutter. Keeping tv remotes and other small items out of site while not in use. The bottom shelf is open on both front and back of table making for easy access of stored items. The weathered medium golden brown color is comforting to look at and will go with most decors. The drawer has a brushed nickle knob. The table is made with MDF {Medium Density Fiberboard), solid wood wood veneer and particle board. The legs are carved wood. They are attached to table by attaching them to a square piece of particle board first then the particle board is attached to the table. Not very durable. I had to tilt my table up and the particle board on one of the legs cracked. It will have to be replaced. This is why there are no legs showing in my picture. I recommend replacing the fiberboard that the legs are attached to with solid wood if table will be moved a lot or in case you may have to tilt it up as I did. Two people are required for proper assembly. Preferably one with experience in assembling furniture. It took me a day and a half because I had to do it by myself, and I have no experience in assembling furniture. So If I did it, you can too. Bottom line is that I love this table and recommend it highly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son, who put this Coffee Table together, recommended that I give it 1 star. Poor Guy. He spent 4 hours putting it together, and he's no dummy. But, he said that some of the instructions were wrong, which caused him to undo some of his work. However, the end result is very nice! It is about 2ftx2ftx4ft.

The wood is nice and dark, which I like, and the detail is good. I really like that it stands on little feet. I highly recommend this table, and also recommend you have Walmart assemble it for you. Thank you Walmart!
