Ordered 4 to replace the 4 That I ordered 4 years ago.  The previous 4 still work with replacement batteries but I put the old ones in the back yard and the new ones in the front yard.  All hang from tall Shepard hooks to define pathways.  Love these lanterns.

We recently updated our patio and wanted a light source besides constantly lighting and replacing candles or the glaring flood light.  These are perfect!  They cast just the right amount of light and since they are solar powered they are "on" even when we are not on the patio.  They are very light, so I have been setting them on the ground when I know we are going to have strong winds.  I am very pleased with this purchase, they are a great deal for the money!

I bought four of these and wanted them to decorate the front porch during the holidays. They are solar and that is great as you can place them wherever you want! Later I will leave two on front porch and put the other two on the new backyard patio for light at night!

These lanterns are just what I wanted

I am very happy with the San  Rafael Solar lanterns I purchased.
Following the instructions included I left them out in the sun for 2 days before turning  them on. They come on at dusk and stay on until dawn and they provide nice bright lighting on my deck.
They were just what I was looking for!

Very Positive!  A good value for the money!

I have recommended these lanterns to several friends, who have purchased them for their own patios.  They withstand the weather very well and have worked for up to 2 years before I needed to replace them.  They still work after a couple of years, however, they "yellow" a little over time, so I prefer to freshen up the look as they are inexpensive to replace.   The go on every evening at dusk and in the summer months stay on for several hours.  In the winter they get less of a charge during the day, but they still go at dark and stay on for a couple of hours.  
They are beautiful, functional, and reasonably priced!

Beautiful and functional decor

I'm usually not a fan of solar lights but this lantern is very bright and look really nice. I've only had it a couple of weeks I'm excited to see if it keeps its brightness throughout the summer.

I've had these going for about 3 weeks now and they're great.  It gives off a soft yellowish light which is perfect for what I was going.  Over all I am very pleased.

Perfect lighting for me

I bought 3 of these.   Left them in the sun the first day, and by evening, they were  just gorgeous!!!! I hung them from Shepherds Hooks , along the walk way to my front door, and they are  so welcoming, and I love them!!!!!

Bought two lanterns. They cast a nice soft glow that doesn't attract bugs. Light weight, so I place against the house if the wind is supposed to blow hard.

It worked for one week then quit. I really liked the look but was sad when the solar wouldn't work. It says there is a battery but took all the screws out and can't find it.
