I bought this little slab of plastic because I was nostalgic for the good old days when USB-A ports were as common as coffee shops. To my surprise, it arrived pristine, with not a single stranger's selfie or cat meme on it. That means I could actually use the full 128 gigabytes for my own data instead of inheriting a digital attic.

The first time I plugged it into my Mac, the transfer bar sprinted faster than my internet provider on a good day. The specs brag about 130 MB/s, but my Mac seemed to think it was a sports car and clocked well above that, moving files from my desktop to the drive in what felt like a nanosecond. I transferred a folder of high-resolution vacation photos and a collection of obscure documentaries, and the drive handled it all without a hiccup.

Capacity-wise, 128 gig is enough to store a small library, a decent music collection, and still have room for the occasional emergency backup of the entire hard drive. I even stuffed a few gigabytes of random memes in there just to test the limits, and the drive never complained.

Price-wise, it was reasonably priced, especially considering how hard it is to find a USB-A flash drive that actually works faster than a snail on a treadmill. I compared it to a handful of overpriced competitors and felt like I had scored a bargain.

Overall, this thing lives up to the hype: fast, empty, and ready for anything. If you need a reliable USB-A stick that won't arrive with a stranger's holiday photos and can actually keep up with your Mac, this is the one to grab.

Honest worke

This flash drive has performed just as I expected of a product of SanDisk. In other words, it has be Flawless. I There is very little setup and may be put to use quickly after setting up the security, if so desired. I have transferred over 18,000 photos from my computer to this drive in a reasonable amount of time. There is still over 50GB of space left for future file additions. I am completely satisfied with this SanDisk Flash Drive and would highly recommend  it to anyone looking for a high quality drive to store files.

A little more money than I wanted to spend but I needed it so I got it.  It holds a lot of songs .  We use it in the car, boat, motorcycle, motorhome when we can't pick up radio stations.  It is easy to download to.  It is reliable.  The plug seems sturdy.

Be aware, the USB stick is somewhat wider than some USB sticks. It will not fit in my USB slot without removing my HDMI and Power cable on my laptop.

This item is supposed to be 128 Gigabytes. I wanted it to transfer a PowerPoint presentation on. It will not hold the presentation. My computer is only 118 Gigabytes and it holds it, but this item will not. Very upset because now I have to buy another one somewhere else.

Doesn't hold as much storage as advertised

I bought the item for a Eufy camera system to see if I could store some of my video footage, but it does not work with Eufy homebase camera system for my video footage, it does not work with anker products unfortunately

It is normal for the actual storage space to be lower than advertised because of how computers versus how companies do things (GiB vs GB). Doing the math for it though 128GB should have around 119GB of usable space but instead it has 114GB. After looking into it more it seems this has been the case for SanDisk for several years now, but not any of their competitors. Others still keep the valid math difference and have 119GB usable. Clearly SanDisk has decided to cut back more and hope that their consumers don't notice. It is deeply disappointing as I used to use them exclusively. 

Overall SanDisk quality seems to be terrible now. I've had a couple of their SD Cards fall apart because their plastic was so cheap as well. I guess this is another brand I'll have to stop buying now because they have to cut back more for record profits.

SanDisk Declining Quality

Do NOT buy this cause it is a big waste of money. It worked great for 2 days but after a few times using it, it stopped working. Can't open any files. The computer and multiple laptops can't read nor recognize the stick. It is like the stick is not there. Can't return the memory stick cause I threw away the outside cover. Now it just sitting in the trash can. Waste of my money and time.

Do NOT buy. It is a big waste of money/
