5***** All the way / Excellent replacement quality and price wise, extremely satisfied, would rebuy this product anytime, was the perfect match for my above ground swimming pool. Just love these kinds of deals. Easy to install and get working as easy as plug and play or in this case swim.

We've only used this for one season but it was a GREAT upgrade from the small filter pump the pool came with. We also purchased an aftermarket skimmer to go with it which when the two are combined cut down on the amount of bugs and debress for sure. The downside is that the valve direction with the outlets and backwash just didn't match well to how the pool we had was designed so I actually mounted the pump backwards to accommodate our hoses and it worked swell. Not like, the pump goes backwards but just isn't on the mount the way the holes were set. Will see how it holds from for next season, and I'd like to maybe add some jets to our pool to help move stuff towards the skimmer but so far so good. This style also allows you to use a proper pool vacuum which is great. Instructions aren't great but aren't terrible.

Pretty great so far

Well I have one of the black arm that is inside of the sand filter coming off constantly and lost all of my new sand in the filter . The sand is all in my pool and in my driveway and as everyone knows by now it is not cheap anymore . I undid my sand filter twice now in just about a month to re-attach the same arm also known as threaded lateral.

Not very happy

did not come with a conversion kit for pool hoses, not compatible with all pools. Do not like that it doesn't have a bulb to see when backwashing.    Not at all what was expected. Do your research before purchasing.  Wish I would have done mine.

We purchased a better name brand of Hayward products

If you want a headache buy this

it has several settings that you have to choose from but not continuous running.  Ive had better cheaper pumps.

The worst filter ever. Could not find adapters that match up with my pool. I returned it very un satisfied.
