It's what we expected and it arrived before they said it would.  It's a fine, soft sand with sparkles in it.  We made a sandbox on legs for our granddaughter's 4th birthday and it was exactly what we wanted to put in it.  She loves it!  We can practice letters and numbers, pour it through the funnel and watch it stream out, and play with other toys.  It feels nice and clean; not dusty like most sand feels.

Really love the sand it is very fine and the kids love playing in it. Have a regular size sand box and the 25 lb bag only filled about a quarter of it so recommend getting at least 3 of these.

Play sand

It arrives in a box with a large single bag of white sand. It is white. Not dull. Has some sparkle. Very fine and even a little dusty when pouring it out of the bag.

I love this sand. It sparkles in the sun is very very fine so it can be used in the table sand toys. The amount filled the bottom of our small sandbox. We will need more next summer but it got the job done. 

This is not thick, sand castle type sand.

My grandkids just luv the sand I chose for their water/ sand table we have for them in our back yard... Thanks again Walmart for your great   selection of products you have in your store and on-line...

Need better packaging. One of the 3 boxes was almost empty by the time it arrived. Requested a refund!
