It was easy to program, just be sure to follow the directions. Now we can listen to our favorite AM Stations without static. Love the sleep option too.

Very nice Wifi Radio

Easy to program, especially using the computer based loading of stations. Battery life is not great, but I will be using it always plugged in. Surprisingly good sound. Overall a breat buy.

I bought one for my dad and I liked his so much that I got one for myself and now I purchased one for my mom for christmas, It works great!

We winter in an area of Arizona and couldn't get consistent and undistorted fm resception. This radio works great.
When I got to the set up asking for the WEP or WPA KEY , I was stumped. For an old school guy  if this was followed by ( wireless router password) it would have been a great help.

Great Reception

Got this WiFi "radio" for my Dad, and it is perfect for him. He lives in an area with poor radio reception and he does not have (and does not want) a smart phone. With this device (plug-in or battery) he can listen to over the Internet radio stations anywhere in the house or back yard. Great sound and easy to use. Now I need to set him up with some podcast stations and this will really give him entertainment options he did not have before.

Excellent alternative in areas with poor reception

After seeing the WIFI drop out complains with other internet radios, I decided to buy this one, and I am very happy with it. Has strong WIFI connection, it was easy to setup and connect to network. It has a great network of radio stations and lets you add other stations. preset buttons are very helpful.

The only minor issue I have is that the turning knob is for scrolling through the menu, and the push button are for changing the volume. This should be other way around like other radios and receivers. I also thought the manual was too wordy and not very clear. The actual setup was much easier. But regardless this radio is built well and works very well.

Great internet Radio

Radio is nice but difficult to navigate. I had to purchase a repeater WIFI to enhance my WIFI signal though out my home. Overall I am very happy with this radio it has a good sound and I don't miss the commercials.

The only problem is the battery, it will only last for about 4 hours of continuous use.

Radio works great!  I am Very well pleased with this radio, great sound. Does not come with batteries.Radio comes with a builded  in charger.Buy some good rechargeable batteries,cheap ones are useless and waste of money.I would recommend this radio to a friend.

Toggman

I have a  wifi clock radio in my bedroom - love it - so decided I needed one in the kitchen also.  To make a long story short, the Sangean was priced $40 less than the other brand and has solid reviews so decided to give it a try. 
   Sangean has a equalizer that needs to be tweaked to clear up the flatness.  I had a connection problem once like another reviewer so unplugged the radio for 10 seconds and that cleared that up.
   Sangean doesn't offer access to as many online stations as the other brand  but it does offer a few different ones.  Sangean also has strong FM reception, but I didn't spend over a hundred dollars for a FM radio.
   I debated over a week whether to return the Sangean but decided I can be happy with it.

A Few Quirks

Unfortunately, Walmart's supplier of the Sangean WFR28, did not have the Sangean WFR28 so they sent, instead, a Sangean WFR39.  Never notified me
