Most incredible little radio. Reception is remarkable, sound quality exceptional. It really is an amazing product. Sangean really knows how to execute an excellent product like no one else in the business of making radios.

Best little radio ever

Great little unit to replace 29-year-old 'Optimus' pocket radio.  Very satisfied.

This works as expected and picks up stations good.   What I needed for a portable radio.

This Sangean Pocket Am/fm Digital Radio is well made and has great reception for a pocket radio.  This radio is perfect for walking or just exercising.  This radio has very good sound and easy to operate.

This radio is worth its price.

I have used this pocket radio daily for many years, so I can listen to my favorite radio while on walks and running errands.  I was so upset when I dropped it and lost the volume cover, so had to cover the slot with tape which made it very difficult to use.  I was ecstatic and relieved to find this slightly updated version from Sangean! However, I "think" this model has been discontinued so I probably won't be able to find it again.  I bought two of them to have a backup, so I will never have to be without it, ha.  It is just SO FANTASTIC -  I use it while in the dental chair, waiting rooms, basically every waking minute when outdoors.  It is a really great thing to have, I highly recommend it!  (and would encourage to keep making it!)

The pocket radio is the best!

bought this to replace an armband radio that died (and never worked too well - bad reception and ate batteries).  I use my phone for podcasts, so needed a radio for listening to live stuff on walks (so playing mp3s wasn't a concern).  display is much clearer that I expected.  The supplied headphones aren't great, but I already have a different set I use that is more comfortable (other than the headphones I would have given it more stars). I usually put it in my pocket so no clip isn't an issue (there is a hole for a "strap", but not sure how I'd use that.
no problems with reception or battery life so far (I've been using it for a few weeks now).

great little radio

Overall, a fine device. Does all I waned. Only complaint I have is I am constantly, in error, selecting the 90 minute timer function when all I really want is to play the device on full time. Advise to all :  READ THE DIRECTIONS. This will help you to master the controls/features of this sweet little AM/FM radio very quickly.

I was very disappointed, the radio had GREAT sound, but I found the operating buttons were just too tiny, and I COULD NOT get the battery cover off to put in or change batteries, it was impossible no matter how hard I tried!
