Difficulty tuning into certain stations, particularly am frequencies.

Sound quality is incredibly good for a radio this size and price point. I am able to pull in some marginally-strong FM stations with strong, static-free signals, and the sound is excellent.  I'd highly recommend this radio for anyone looking for a small portable AM/FM radio that has excellent signal reception and speaker sound.

pretty good for the higher price. I paid $27 dollars for mine where as moat others are only $13 to 17$, but the extra cost was worth it. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for, and his radio is no exception.

The signal is astounding. Im able to get so many more stations than most of my other radios. It comes with a wrist strap for hanging it on a nail or keeping it from falling. It feels quality built in the hand with nice wide knobs for easy use if you're older or just have hand isues.

My only real gripe is the pop in/out mostly noticeable in AM. If you try to tune a week signal, the radio will pop in and out constantly, making week signals unusable, whereas my other radios dont have this problem.

Really Nice Radio

This radio is superb.  Sound quality is good for a small radio.  Earphone use is exceptional.  Sensitivity is quite good.  Selectivity is good for an analog tuner.
Holds station well without fading.  Would recommend it to anyone, have already done so personally.

Excellent radio

I so love this radio, from the sound, because it has a large speaker, the way it does not stray from the station it is put on, it is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better then the radios that Amazon sells for more money, like the Sony and Panasonic, I have thrown all of these away because they are nothing but JUNK, another feature of this little radio is the fact that it plays forever on the two AA batteries, I cannot say enough good about this radio, except that we love it and we bought another one just in case this one gets dropped, thank you Sangean for this great product!!!!!!

EXCELLENT RADIO

I like to have a small radio like this in the bathroom and this radio accomplishes what I would like a radio to do.  It is compact, my local stations come in great, along with others from a greater distance.  The sound is clear and crisp and it is easy to operate and install batteries.
Happy with this product.

AM/FM Pocket Radio

I am retired, living in a rural area. I wanted an old fashioned 'transistor radio' to take with me when I go for my bike ride. Reception is very good, very pleased with this radio for the price. Picked up my order at my local Walmart. All around, pleasant purchase.

Good value...

I bought this radio for my 90 year old mother and it is perfect, she loves it.  It is very easy to use and the price cant be beat. The sound is crystal clear which is great for someone that is hard of hearing.  I HIGHLY recommend this item!

I WAS SHOCK WHEN I GO THE ORDER I GHECK IT OUT AND IT PLAYED VERY GOOD I LIKE IT

Great pocket radio.(hard to find these anymore with a speaker). Good sound, and outstanding receiving capability for such a small unit! Bought it for a specific purpose, plan to use it only a few times a month. Very pleased so far.

Does not receive all stations well enough for pleasant listening. One has to look for a space that has even adequate reception and then it is spotty. Am going to return this radio asap.
