this is so effective for mosquitoes or biting bugs that make you itch I can't help but tell shout it to the world! I was in the hospital in 2020 for cancer surgery and I had sore muscles in my upper arms and the pharmacist sent this up to my room. the camphor and the menthol work very well on this type of localized pain. Similar to Ben Gay, but I prefer the smell of this.  I dab it where bug bites are or slather it on just to prevent them from landing on me because bugs do not like Menthol or Camphor. I say get it.

Fabulous product! I have been using this product often on for several years due to a difficult and as yet undiagnosed skin rash that causes itching and occasionally redness. This is the only lotion that relieves the itching and soothes my skin. So grateful for this product. I hope they never stop producing it.

Just above my ankles were itching like crazy. This was so bad I had to call my doctor. He advised me to try a product called Sarna.  This works so perfectly immediately PH stopped in both of my legs. Now I only use it every once in a while and as soon as I put it on itThis works so perfectly immediately the itching stopped in both of my legs. Now I only use it every once in a while and as soon as I put it on it stops the itching. That goes for mosquito bites or bites of any kind because Im always working in my garden.  II highly recommend this product. It works beautifully it works immediately and it is very very inexpensive.

This was recommended to me from my doctor. IT WORKS WONDERS!!  Dry skin, rashes, bug bites - works within minutes.  I had surgery and my stitches itched like crazy so the doc suggested this over a prescription.  It does smell for a few seconds but you get over it once the itch is gone! It is thicker than normal lotions so it doesn't run and absorbs great.  I'll be putting this is my summer travel bag as well as my medicine cabinet.

Gotta be the strongest %26 most effective extremely-stubborn-itch-to-the-point-of-pain-soother/cooling/eliminator out there. But not really for something like scabies where the relief can be often just temporary. It has a mild, distinctly-menthol odor that might be unpleasant for some. This product/brand has been around forever %26 a totally handy must-have.

Anti-itch at its finest!

This stuff is amazing! I have had a rash over my stomach that I could not find relief for. But this has worked so well! Smell is strong, but it is a smell that I like, similar to vicks rub. I imagine this would feel great and calming in mosquito bites come summer. This will be a must have in my medicine cabinet going forward.

Usefull

Sarna works better than any itch stopping cream I've used in the past, and I've tried many. I live in a wooded area where there's always a bug waiting to bite you. Sarna stops the itching almost instantaneously. I think it must the combination of camphor and menthol. As soon as you put it on, there's a nice tingle, then no more itch. It also absorbs well into your skin. It has a medicinal fragrance, but I found it pleasant.

I have used Sarna for a number of years (long forgotten how many).  I have an allergy/intolerance to soy and it beats back the itch on my back.  (Period)

Cuts the itch.

This is the best product I have found to relieve an invisible itch on my arms, shoulders and sometimes neck.   I apply this lotion after a shower and it glides on easily and is quickly absorbed into my skin. It has a cooling effect because of the menthol which is nice in the warmer months and a refreshing fragrance.  The itch relief lasts until I shower it off.

I don't get why this has to smell like moth balls.
People that are purchasing this, obviously have something wrong with their skin in the first place.
Why add the scent of a perm to it?
You know that smell in the salon when someone is getting a perm?
That smell.
Returned.
Bought the unscented version of this, extremely hard to find, and it does take away the itch, but not a 100% solution.
This is my honest review for my personal experience.
Everyone's skin is different obviously.
