It looks like it costs much more than it did. The only wood on it is the doors.  I'm very happy with the purchase. It takes two people to put it together. I'm a single woman and  I got so far and couldn't do it. It is very, very heavy. But, I love it.

Beautiful piece of furniture. Very happy with the quality.

Some of the assembly was a little difficult, but the credenza is absolutely beautiful.  The color is perfect for our room and it looks like a quality piece of furniture.  It fits all of our electronic equipment very nicely.  We're shopping for some smaller pieces in the collection to add to the room.

Barrister Lane Scribed Oak Entertainment Credenza

I love the look of this piece and it was very easy to assemble.  The only complaint I have is that the doors and the decorative hardware are flimsy and don't close well.  The rest of the entertainment center is pretty sturdy.  Overall I think it's decent quality for the price.

Decent Quality for the Price

You can't beat this tv stand for the price. The others I had my eye on were between 3 and 5 (or more - I'm looking at you, Ballard Designs!) times more expensive. Since it's a value piece, it's of course particle  board and veneers, but it's a sturdy piece of furniture. We purchased the scribed oak and it's a nice medium brown tone modern oak.  (Not orange. Has natural looking grain.) It goes well with the oak hardwoods and cabinetry in our family room.  I should have realized that the cremone bolt is just non-functioning decorative hardware. I didn't realize this when purchasing, so I am disappointed by that, but probably should've known based on the price.

Good value tv stand

This was not difficult to assemble. The straight sides without any overhang from the top was just what I was looking for. I placed it between two pieces of the entertainment center I already had. Oh how I wished it came in black. I sanded, primed and painted it black to blend in with my furniture. It looks great.

Nice, sturdy credenza for the price.

We had a really hard time finding anything to match our pecan furniture. This isn't perfect, but it blends okay. Was a little tricky to assemble but we got it done. One piece of the composition wood was broken when we opened the box, but we called Sauder and they sent us a replacement in the mail. Fortunately, it was a trim piece and we were still able to use the unit without it while waiting for the piece.
