The best assembly experience I have had! Direction simple and clear with a few ingenious hardware additions that eliminated all hassles with the base assemble. Love the color and functionality! Only thing that would improved the product for me is adding about 2 inches in width but that's only to perfect my esthetic quirks.

This is a very nice Stand and roomy enough for several DVD's, etc. and we have our HD box, DVD and old VHS in it also. The oak color is a nice finish and we have our 47" LG TV on it which its stand has plenty of room. Really nice for the money. Only I paid for quicker shipping as I read a review that said it takes a long time to ship but that was false in my case as I had an e-mail that it was shipping the very next day! Very happy with this.

Perfect stand for my new TV!

The cabinet went together quickly and easily with a minimum of tools required and easy-to-follow directions. The height and color are ideal for our space and the 'footprint' is everything we hoped for.  Sometimes all you need is something simple and this cabinet is just fine, with just the right amount of storage space for the basics. Recommended for a small room.

Sometimes less is more

My husband isn't a handyman at all. It took him a day to put together. I'm more handy at things like this but I was determined he would do this without my assistance.

After saying all that, the finished product fits nicely and looks good in livingroom. Stand is very sturdy. It easily holds a 42" TV. We used one shelf. VCR/DVD recorder and cable box fit perfectly. We put felt pads on bottom so it could easily slide over laminate floor.

Stand in person is slightly darker than pictured. I would have liked it better lighter.

Sturdy

Had to order on line as our local store did not have it. Arrived quickly and with only a small amount of damage; not enough to bother.
Set up was easy for this type of product.
It seems very sturdy and would be almost impossible to tip over.
Would highly recommend if you need a small, basic corner TV base.

Great product for the money

I would have rated this higher if there hadn't been a screw missing, and one door knob was threaded too deeply for the included screw. Fortunately, the missing piece wasn't crucial, and I had a spare screw to fasten the knob onto the door.

That said, It was easy to assemble, looks like an expensive piece of furniture, has completely adjustable shelves, and is the perfect size and height for my TV.

Missing/defective pieces

I wanted a new TV stand for my bedroom -- my moderately sized box TV is still in good working condition but it's difficult to find a stand to accommodate the base. This stand works well! It's nothing fancy but looks nice....the cardboard backing could be a little more substantial, but it's not terrible. I'm able to store my cable box and DVD player on the shelves and a basket of dvds underneath. The side compartments hold a good amount of DVDs. I put it together by myself and it only took a couple hours. You'll need a hammer to nail the backing on and a screwdriver -- a second smaller screwdriver was helpful at times. Product seems sturdy enough -- was able to sit on without any movement. Super fast shipping -- thanks!

Worked for my older box TV

I had a friend put this together since I have trouble with carpal tunnel. It assembled very quickly. It would have been nice to have the double lettered parts appear a little larger in the directions, it took us a while to find out what the four extra parts were.. they were covers for the first connections we made on the unit but they were overlooked as the picture of the part and letters, in the instructions, were not easily found or seen. Otherwise we had no problems and the color was like the picture on the Wal Mart site so it matches my furniture. The only 'complaint' I might have is that it is not quite tall enough to put my TV screen at eye level, but I had a storage cabinet for videos and DVDs that put it up higher.... so I solved that myself. Since I ordered both at the same time I didn't have a clear concept of how high the stand needed to be. I wish it were in real wood, but none of the ones I can afford are... I feel this is a quality product for fabricated wood and will serve me well for many years.

Great size for my corner

Very heavy unit...seems to be sturdy. "Oak" means the "look" of oak...not actually oak...more of a heavy pressed particle board with a veneer finish. Other than that, nice piece for the money. Definitely will do the job...very sturdy.

I ordered this for my father for Christmas. Took it to him and started helping him put it together. Two of the main parts were labeled C & D, but there were actually two part Cs. Without the correct part D the stand did no go together properly. It was very frustrating to have ordered it for him for Christmas and then having to send it back. I would not recommend this stand to anyone!

Don't waste your time and money on this!
