Made in USA and that gives this tons of Plus's. I got this to use as a small bookcase and it fits what I am looking for. I have other Sauder furniture in my office and this one is not the highest quality as the other tables and cubes that I have purchased. Perhaps the name of this implies that the quality is not up-to-par with the other Sauder that I own - Sauder "Beginnings" Multimedia Storage. It goes with the other Sauder furniture I have in my office, so that works for me. After all, it holds books and notebooks for me, not a big deal. Extremely easy to assemble. 4 parts to assemble.

I bought two of these to store my growing collection of DVDs. The design is perfect, no wasted space. Assembly was easy. As DVDs are so popular I am surprised that this item is not stocked in every store. Walmart is missing an opportunity to sell loads of this item. They should have an assembled example in their furniture department.

Perfect DVD Storage

I loved how easy it was to put this together.  I'm an avid papercrafter and this tower was perfect for storing my rubber stamps (which are in cases).  It is just the right size, no wasted space.

Perfect for my craft room

ok for the money and use

I bought three of these together. I assembled them to make one deep 24" x 30" cabinet. I did not need to use the back pieces on two of them. I did not use the bottom piece with the apron. The sterilite plastic drawers will now fit into this cabinet. I had three of them each about 9 inches high. I got three shelves with this use. I used hot glue to assemble it since I was deviating from the instructions. I used some of the hardware. I am very happy with this and I could not find anything in this size that would exactly fit in the space I had to use. Three was my lucky charm.

Alternate use

I have bought and used Sauder products for many years and have found them to be well thought-out and durable considering what they're made of - pressed board with a vinyl covering. You won't be getting any hardwood veneers here. If you can live with that and know the structural limitations then you'll be satisfied with your choice.
My only hesitation about this product stemmed from my own lack of awareness: to me, the picture makes it look larger than it really is. My concern was the width but I overlooked the height and "thought" that it was taller. No big deal as I used it successfully anyway.

Nice little CD storage Tower...

This was not easy assembly, you had to hammer the back on with like 25 nails and even drill your own holes in some of the wood so i don't know who considers it easy but it's done and it looks fine for my blu ray collection extension.

Don't believe this is easy assembly

It is alright for what I paid, however it is not the best shelf. The shelf kind tilts back a little after I put some books. I'm using in my room which has carpet, maybe if you use it in hard floor the self won't tilt back.

Arrived ahead of time, all pieces were in box, easy to out together, for the money looks pretty good!

Dimensions are deceiving.  Says that cabinet is 8" deep. Its not.  Base is 8" deep. The shelves are only 4-5" deep. Other than that, its ok.
