It was challenging to get the screw holes of the shelves to line up with the frame--had to really pull and stretch to get them matched up. Once done, though, it was solid and attractive.

I love the way this shelf looks and it is fairly simple to build. However, you will definitely need two people to build this but with my husbands help we were able to have this built in about 30 minutes.

Excellent Buy

This is a beautiful shelf! Everything came neatly packaged and it is not heavy! I am currently 6 months pregnant and was able to put most of it together. The instructions are easy to follow. My husband did have to help screw some of the shelves because they didn't align correctly! So that was the only setback. That would be my recommendation for the improvement of the manufacturer!

The bookshelf was only able to be half assembled due to the holes/screws not aligning properly. It is held together by only half the screws, and no way to fix because it is made of metal and would be very difficult to drill new holes. I am keeping it because its more for decoration, and its not noticeable that the shelves are only attached at two points.   However, if this would need to be used for heavier objects/books I would be concerned about stability.

Loved the look and style of this, unfortunately my first delivery I was defective; two of the shelves didn't align with the holes of the screws.  So I returned the first one and received a second replacement one, just to have the same issue, this time with ONE shelf. Seems to be a problem with how the unit is produced and is clearly just not reliable. Buyer Beware.

I never leave reviews but felt compelled to for this - its almost impossible to put together because the screw holes have been lined up so poorly. Look elsewhere.

Alignment is off for each shelf. The fact that you'd need one person to pull the shelf in order to get the screw to align correctly is enough to return. Poorly constructed. Would give 0 stars if I could.
