I LOVE THIS DESK! I'm genuinely shocked by how great it is. The quality is fantastic. I put it together by myself which at times, was a little difficult (specifically the steps that recommended two people) but I got it done. The instructions were the most thorough and easy to follow instructions I've ever seen. I actually enjoyed assembling it. 

Other reviewers mentioned damage. I had one piece that was very lightly damaged and fortunately it was a part on the interior and won't be visible. The desk is VERY heavy. I had to open it outside and bring it inside piece by piece. One box was 80lbs and one box was 127lbs. I think this is why pieces get damaged in shipping - too much weight in one box. 

The measurements are spot on and it was perfect for my space. It has a ton of storage. I can't believe the price. I was looking at desk 3-4 times the price that I likely wouldn't have been as happy with. I am so pleased with this piece and would buy it again. But be prepared for the extremely heavy boxes.

Here is the deal. We REALLY like this desk. It's a beautiful color, study, has the option for modifying what side the l-shape lands, and it has a TON of storage. In fact, this is the second one that we ordered to mirror the one that we already had. We originally ordered this desk from a different source and it came in two separate packages but undamaged. Yes, it took a little while to get the order, but this was during the COVID shut down and one of the two packages is REALLY heavy (you will need two people to carry it or open it up an move the pieces one by one). HOWEVER, when we ordered from Walmart the second time around, the first of the two packages came and it looked like it was safe and undamaged from the outside. It wasn't until I opened it up and saw that the part that goes on the bottom of the drawer was warped, bent, and broken. It's a pain in the butt, but I think we will be able to get around that by purchasing a replacement piece from the hardware store. 

When the second package arrived, the outside of the package was ROUGH. There were dents, gauges, and rips in the box that showed the inside contents. I was SUPER nervous about having damaged parts and my suspicions were correct.  A part of the desk corner was bent when I opened it up. Luckily, it is not completely broken off and we will do our best to glue it back together, BUT it is absurd that we will have to "fix" a new product that cost us quite a bit. I"m not too sure if the fault lies in the packaging, shipping, or that it came from a third party source. Maybe a little bit of both. All I know is that I am SUPER annoyed. 

Now, some of you might be wondering, why the heck didn't we just have it replaced? 
 Well, I'm not too sure how to do that without a box and all of the pieces being loose. Also, the product is currently out of stock and who knows how long it will be before it is back in stock. It already took us 3 weeks to get the broken version of this desk, and with everyone working from home right now, we cannot wait another 3  weeks for another desk to get here.  So, we are now left with an expensive jerry-rigged desk.

Both packages had broken pieces.

It arrived with broken pieces, took all day to assemble and any visible screws (which there are quite a lot of) are to be covered with stickers. The drawers stick. Ball bearings are already falling out of one of the drawer glides. It's too late for me but save yourself from the torture and order something else, anything else.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] great, quality item.  very sturdy and the directions were easy to follow.

Well designed system for assembly with twist locks as well as screws.  Plan on at least 6 hours to assemble.  The instruction manual, which is large and complete, with a different one for which side the extension is mounted. My only reason for leaving off the 5th star is there are some parts of the manual can be a bit confusing when the view of a specific panel is flipped and rotated from one operation to another without clear labeling of where the rounded edge is located.   

All the pre-drilled holes were in the right locations.  For some reason on one panel the screw holes weren't counter sunk as on the others.  And it is important to use the right type of head screw for the small ones when mounting the draw sliders.  Pay attention to getting the screws in straight, they can easily go in at an angle and not provide the required clearance. 

I put the desk together by myself the only issue was putting the rear panel on which was a bit tricky and I used a small scissors jack to hold one end up while putting in screws.

Other than a couple minor items, mostly to do with instructions, I'm very pleased with the desk, for the money it is a good deal,  strong with a good system of fastening panels together other than just screws.   Do keep in mind the extension for the keyboard is right against the side extension so there is really little if any room between the chair and the side extension. Your elbow will right there so consider this when placing items that use the full width of the extension top.

Well Pleased, worth the price.
