my daily work desk in my office I got a lot of compliments on it. When it was delivered the box had a big hole in it and when we unpacked the box the main top piece also had a big hole in it. I called customer service and they took care of a replacement piece right away. I had the piece delivered in 3-4 days

This is a beautiful desk. Well built, all the pieces fit together perfectly. Some of the pilot holes were too small and I had a hard time getting the screws in all the way without stripping. Assembly wasn't ""difficult"" so to speak, well written instructions. Obviously it's a large piece and takes work to put together. I (a woman in my 40s) put this together in one night. Some of the pieces are large and heavy, it took some creative thinking to maneuver them in place, since I was working alone.

Beautiful desk

I'm so happy i went with Sauder on the purchase of my new desk. I assembled it last night and it took less than three hours. I've assembled a LOT of furniture in my life, and this desk was one of the easiest I've ever put together. All the parts were well labeled, the instructions were clear, and everything lined up perfectly when it came time to connect the larger pieces. I'll definitely be buying Sauder furniture again!

I caught this desk on sale for 300. Worth every penny of that. Does come in ALOT of pieces.

I would buy again at the sales price

I haven't fully assembled the whole desk yet but it is so far looking great! One piece won't line up to fit snug like it should so I will have to have my husband help me to see if we can get it to work. Two people are definitely needed to put this together because it is very heavy. I'm sure I will be happy with the desk once we get it put together. This desk has one keyboard tray but I wish it came with two.

Desk is sturdy and beautiful, but the support construction leads to a lot of wasted and/or difficult to access space in drawers and cabinets.

Lovely and sturdy, but wasted space.

I suspect if I ever get the product, it will be as good or better than any other Sauder product I have enjoyed. But for now I have some of the boxes and I am unable to assemble anything and I have been waiting 27 days. It is hard to build a desk when you have half the parts and no hardware. It is hard to add a hutch to a file drawer that is not here. Estes is the freight company and they are horrible. Sauder told me they would try again with another freight company and then used Estes again. This should not be this hard.

Hard to review when I can't get it delivered!

My husband began putting together the Hammond L-shaped desk yesterday and got half way through and realized that we received two ""K"" pieces instead of a ""K"" and an ""L"". So we called Sauder and they acted like this was no big deal, as if it happens all the time, and then said the piece will ship from CA and will arrive in a week. No ability to ""rush"" or expedite because of COVID. They really don't care that we now have 800 pieces of desk all over our house. How can they take absolutely NO responsibility for the missing piece? Oh, they said they'd give us 20% off something else. Uh, so will that product come with all the pieces???????????? This has been and will continue to be an AWFUL experience. Totally regret this purchas.
