I love this fireplace TV stand! The heat from it in the winter is great! I received compliments on it as it is  great looking! Definitely have it delivered as it is very heavy and have someone strong around to bring it in the house! We struggled with it along with a neighbor so have help if you are like me with a house full of girls. LOL

It's easy to put together. The directions are very clear and everything is labeled.  
There is a fan with one speed, controlled by remote or buttons on top of fireplace.  There's three levels of fire brightness, separate from heat fan. Heat? Yes!  The fan is strong and standing 4-5 feet away you can feel it.  Great, just what we wanted.  
It's more rustic than we expected.

Easy assembly

I bought this TV Stand w fireplace and my son in law put together. He had no pblm putting it together. It took him 3 hrs so give your self some time. All the parts were all there.

Merry Christmas to me

I don't usually take the time to review products but I put so much time and effort into researching media cabinets, both with and without fireplaces - online and in stores, that I feel it might help other shoppers with their decisions.  Most of the complaints I found were flimsy/cheap structures and easily scratched surfaces and I wanted to avoid both at all costs. I decided to take a chance on a Sauder cabinet because I have one in my basement that was purchased in the 90s thats still like new except for the hidden scratches from where the tv sat.   Even mopping around the base all those years didn't buckle or damage it in any way. Some of the cabinets I saw in stores were already beat up possibly from being moved or assembled and customers examining them. This tv cabinet arrived in good condition except one shelf had the corner surface peeled off, about an inch in size.  It could be stained to cover the white area but since it's hidden behind the door, I haven't bothered with it yet. All the important pieces were in perfect condition. It took my husband and me about 5 hours to put it together.  The instructions are clear and easy to follow for the most part. Our only mis-step was,  we turned one of the boards backwards and had to disassemble a few boards to correct it.  The fireplace requires screws in a tight area that's too small for your hand. We remedied that with a long handled screw driver and glued the screw to it. It held the screw in place long enough to get it started. It's a beautiful piece and I'm very happy with the choice we made. There's no scratches, the fireplace works great and the cabinet is sturdy.... All the things I was hoping to find! And one other thing. I hesitated because it was cherry, but it looks good with my other wood pieces (non-cherry). It's actually a mixture of dark brown and light brown so it goes with everything.

We made the right choice!

Got this for a Christmas present. Thought it was going to match my coffee table and end tables perfectly. Boy was I surprised it is NOT a cherry color!! It's a dark brown with some light brown in it, red at all! It's still a beautiful piece. Just wanted everyone to know it is NOT a cherry color, more like walnut. And the fire in the fireplace has red flames. Looks kinda weird!! Happy holidays

I was very disappointed to receive a very damaged media center.  It had a large scratch on the front, the corner was dented in and two very bad cuts on the cardboard backing.  I feel like I should receive a refund for receiving damaged merchandise.
