We purchased 2 of these cabinets to match our new vanities in our Master Bathroom. My husband and son teamed up to assemble them. They both commented on how easy it was as long as you followed the instructions to the tee! We were confident in ordering from the Sauder Co. Since we previously ordered 6 cherry wood file cabinets when remodeling our home office. I highly recommend this item for wherever you need. We are using the lower tilt out cabinet as a hamper. The top cabinet holds my electric hair styling tools and my cosmetic supplies stored in matching plastic baskets from the dollar store. I included a picture and hope it shows the beauty of it..My Husband has the same on his half of the room.

Very simple to put together, pieces were numbered and in perfect condition. Instructions were clear and easy to understand. Overall, a very good product for a reasonable price. Looks very high-end. My only complaint is that my order was 'delayed in transit' and arrived later than hoped for, but that should not be a reflection on the product itself, which was excellent.

Great looking cabinet.

The assembly was not necessarily difficult, but it did take 2 people. The only problem we ran into was securing the feet to the bottom of the unit. It required a longer screwdriver than what we had. Also, it holds a much larger trash can than stated in the Q & A portion.

Very nice cabinet

Very nice cabinet however the feet to level the cabinet easy crack when tapping the metal insert to insert the feet to level the cabinet. Great purchase however take your time building it and don't over tighten any of the screws. The cabinet looks great and serve as a kitchen pantry as described.

I ordered this cabinet for my massage practice to store linens and supplies. I use the bottom as a hamper and it's just perfect! A very handsome cabinet and I get compliments on it all the time. It was very easy to put together, although I would suggest having an extra hand mainly because it can get a bit awkward to handle due to it's length. Assembly/set-up time was about an hour. Highly recommended!

Great look, storage, and function!

This is a nice piece of furniture. It is not a custom made solid piece, after all it cost barely over $100. It is veneer on particle board and the joins where veneer meets in some places you can see the color of the particle board. That being said, this cabinet has a lot of parts and a lot of pieces and for the money it really can't be beat. It will take about 1.5 hours to build. It is very sensible, but there are a lot of pieces and if you are a bit of a perfectionist like me, just putting the cardboard back on and making sure it is lineal and even on all sides took 30 minutes. Overall though, I got exactly what I paid for and I am quite pleased at the final product

The top door has a manufacturer problem: the holes are not properly aligned causing the door to be uneven and flushed with the bottom door.

I will be writing the company to inform them of this defect... I should not have to drill additional holes after purchase. I will not purchase anything from Sauder homeplus again

Uneven doors

Wanted two, but got one to make sure it was OK. Exceeded expectations so I immediately ordered second one with same results. They are side by side and meet pantry/recycling needs. We will order third one for bath using tip out for laundry. As with any assembly, a mechanically inclined person will do it with best understanding. My hints for this great American made product: 
(1) lay the heavy unopened box flat on surface. Facing the box end (I sat) cut plastic and open it. SLOWLY remove packing and heavy pieces one at a time to not scratch the finish. 
(2) inventory 17 pieces and hardware per pages 3 and 4 (All but obvious pieces have letter stickers matching the picture) 
(3) Hardware is neatly sealed in clear plastic compartments on one common sheet.  Lift up and hold plastic above each set of fasteners to make a small tent and cut the tent off with scissors. This opens all fasteners for easy access yet keeps them separate on one sheet until needed.  
(4) Assemble cabinet on top of box. NOTE: Align piece edges before tightening fasteners. Also, when adjusting hinges, loosening the hold down/stop screw is not enough. It won't slide until you take the tension off the adjusting set screw next to it by turning  it until it moves is loosely.
(5) move to location before adding doors and shelving as it will be lighter.

Excellent Engineering, instructions and packing.

This was very difficult to put together and it was difficult to read and follow directions. Very cheap material. Door is crooked, tried to follow directions on how to fix it, did not help. So the door does not lign up with the top of the cabinet, there is a gap. I would not recommend this. Spend more to get better quality.

Cheap is cheap

I would give 0 stars if I could. I ordered 2 of these. the only pro is that they arrived VERY fast. The first shelf took about 2 hours to put together. instructions are hard to read and have errors. once you stand the shelf up it's fairly sturdy. However, again, the top and bottom dont completely align exact. if it didnt take so long to put together I would take it apart and send it back. 
The 2nd shelf I purchased (same exact one, purchased same day), had an error on a board to where no brackets could be inserted.  Needless to say the whole unit cannot be assembled because this manufacturing mistake.
I ordered this online since I dont have a large vehicle to pick up furniture with. But now I have to take this crappy shelf back to walmart during a pandemic in my smart car..... what a great experience. Please think twice before the purchase.
