At 1st I struggled with the same issues that some people had putting this together where the screws didn't fit in the holes provided. So I went to Lowe's and asked questions about smaller screws but instead the guy helped me pre-thread the screws into the original holes by using a little bit stronger torque to create the thread in the holes.... So,  then I was able to  screw the parts together. What a tremendous help that was!!!
Now my unit is fully put together and looks BEAUTIFUL!!!

Iron Etagerie

I bought two of these shelves to display my collections and they are beautiful! Well made and the price was even better! Definitely a must purchase and shipping was fast.

Beautiful Shelves

It doesn't look half as "lux" in person as it does in the picture, in my opinion, but I have received many compliments.  The shelves are very thick and sturdy.  It was packaged well, despite the beating it took before it was delivered, everything was pristine.
It's already marked down again, since I purchased...very disappointing.   Based on its "in person"  appearance, I would say its worth about $100, no more

Lack Luster Lux

It took hours to put this thing together. The holes do not line up and are to small for the screws. The manufacturer can and should have already fixed this problem. There is no need to make something so hard to put together. I finally hammered in the screws. Finished product looks beautiful!

Should be very easy to assemble but the holes don't line up. Screws won't go in flush on parts. Couldn't use drill had to use soap to wax the screws since they don't fit properly. I bought 2 of these. Same issue on both.

Can't rate this low enough. The screws don't fit in the holes. Sauder support told me to just jam a screwdriver into the holes and try and widen them. Now I have no shelves and a mangled screwdriver.

Impossible Assembly

The product was faulty, with holes too small to fit the screws provided. As such, it cannot be built as reliable shelves without powertools. Support was completely unhelpful in resolving this.

Faulty!

I've never been pushed to the point of leaving a bad review on anything, but I feel it is my obligation to tell others that putting this bookcase together was the most stressful time Ive ever had putting furniture together. Could have been super easy but the holes did not line up properly so I couldn't get the screws all the way in so it didnt even stand up straight. HORRIBLE product.
