Can be straightforward, but instructions can be unclear.

Ideal for small office spaces with ample storage.

If you can solve a Rubiks Cube then you can put this desk together.  Just expect to curse a lot! Since there is no language instructions bring a magnifying glass to you can see where the tiny holes are. Luckily I only put one piece in backwards.  Other than that it's quite a decent desk for the cost. Some of the wood got a bit scuffed putting it together.  Hopefully it holds up well. It IS very heavy and solid - its NOT flimsy. Looks exactly like the photos.

An 8 hour project but a solid sturdy desk

The Engineering and manufacturing of the components was spot on.  All parts fit together perfectly following the easy to understand instructions. It was not difficult at all to assemble.

This is actually a beautiful desk I purchased for my 16 yr old son. The instructions and time it took to put together was long about 6 hours. All and all it turned out very nice and my son loves it. It was also packaged very well with no damage.

It's a good size for a home office . I love all the different drawers and space it has. It is very detailed to put together. It takes awhile . It's worth it though for the price.

I like the size of the desk as we have a smaller office in our new home than in our former home. The color is different than I would have thought I'd like, but I do like it. We paid to have it assembled, and I am glad we did so. It took an assembler, who does this for a living, 2 hours to put together, and would have taken us a lot longer. Everything works, but there are a couple of minor issues. First, there was a trim piece that was cracked, so my husband glued it while the installer skipped that step, then, after my husband had it repaired and dried, it was able to be attached out of order. The other minor issue is the drawers do need to be pushed pretty firmly to close, which is a tad annoying. Other than that, I really like this desk; it's the perfect size for our needs, it holds all our files and all our office stuff, and has enough room to work, plus holds a few office items on top. The price was fair, and the desk is worth buying, IMHO.

Nice desk, nice color,

Major aggravation with the numbers/codes for the bag that holds the screws, and accessories needed to assemble. Wish they would also have a photo of the bag in the manual for reference once the bag gets destroyed half way through the assembly process. Aggravation that could be eliminated

Product is worth it's value

Top scratched. Drawers didnt line up. Overall ok for price. Definitely not returning after 90% together. Took a long time to put together.

Walmart beat Wayfair and Target prices by $100, so definitely the best bargain. 
The delivery company dropped the package on my front walk, not at the door, and 3 pieces were damaged. Walmart sent me to Hayneedle, which sent me to Sauder. Sauder was great and replaced the damaged pieces within 2 days for free. I am a senior female and I was able to put the desk together with a hand-held screwdriver and a tack hammer. It took a good 3 days and some of the instructions were a little confusing, but there are videos to help out. Now that it is together I love it. Very sturdy, drawers operate smoothly, good size for a modest space. Would have given the product 5 stars if not for the delivery damage.

Great desk after the hassles

It was delivered unassembled and difficult directions made it impossible for us to assemble it. We hired a handyman to do it and some of the many parts were not accurately cut which sent him to several stores and his home to adjust them. This desk DOUBLED in cost by the end. Disgraceful!

The desk itself is fine

Good looking table but assembly instructions were not found inside my package, had to go to the manufacturer website but even there you have to fill a form and wait for an email with the instructions. Still have not received mine. Don't understand why not just make these instructions downloadable, why the form, phone number collection, waiting - doesn't make sense.
