It took about 3-4 hours for my husband and I to put together. You def need someone's assistance for the heavier pieces. Installing the drawers and everything was a one person job toward the end. Looks high value for the money. Very roomy!

I love this desk! It was super heavy and kind of a challenge to put together, but the end result is so worth it!

If you need a desk, get this one!

It is a REAL heavy desk.  Good construction and made to last.

Good design and made to last

I absolutely love this desk! It took me about three days and a very sore back to get it assembled. But, the instructions were very easy to follow. I was able to do everything by myself except attaching the two pieces together at the end. I then enlisted the help of my 10 year old daughter to help hold it up. It is a very sturdy and heavy built desk, just what I wanted. Looks beautiful in my office.

I was hesitant to purchase this product after reading the reviews. However, the desk was delivered in 2 boxes in good shape and ahead of schedule. My 17-year-old adopted daughter put it together in a little over 4 hours including a lunch break. My only complaint is the crack on the underside of the desktop. It appears to have only went through to the top at the very edge. I'm hoping that the bracing keeps it from cracking further. Once together, it's a beautiful desk with plenty of room. The drawers are somewhat stiff but I think they'll loosen with use. The desk I wanted cost over $3,500. This was a better option for my pocketbook.  Looks great in my home office.

Pleasantly surprised

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You'll need patience and 2 days to put this together! That being said it's a good value and looks great! It's big so make sure you measure your space. Some of the direction are not clear( we thought we were missing some pieces but we were not). 
I would recommend, just trust the process, the end result will be beautiful!

If you follow the directions it will go smoothly.  Only one piece out of what seemed Hundreds was bad and sauder was great abt replacing it.  Actually had extra screws/ bolts at end.  Will take a lot of time but looks good and was as advertised

Material itself is much better than I expected! I'll be honest though, if I would have had to pay full price for this AND still put it together, I don't think it would have been worth it. I put it together by just myself and it look approximately 10 hours or so. Just a lot of small parts and just takes a lot of time! I'm glad I got it on a sale! Also, I would highly NOT RECOMMEND using the Handy assembly service if you are offered it in your checkout. They cancelled 3 times, so finally got ahold of Walmart and got my money back. Don't even waste your times with that company. Other than that, I'm very happy with the purchase. It seems very sturdy and looks like it should last for quite some time! I would recommend buying, but make sure you have the time and/or help to put it together once it arrives.

Great product! Long time to assemble!

I am not satisfied with this desk. It is cheaply made. The pre drilled holes don't match per the directions, the surface of the desk is already scratched. The color is pretty. Unfortunately I would not purchase again
