The item is very nice and modern, and the instructions and pre-holes for the screws were excellent. The problem with this item is it arrived with a good amount of scratches on the wood, and a couple of small scratches on the metal. The delivery box even had a good amount of holes in it. Finally, the small metal legs that goes under it holds most of the weight of the entire tv stand. Any slight movement even on hardware floors, and with nothing on it or in it the leg or legs will crack off of the bottom of the wood. The wood at the bottom is way too thin to support an item this heavy. The bottom wood piece should be two times the thickness in comparison to the wood at the top to support the weight of this item. Overall, if the item arrived with no damage to it, and the wood at the bottom was thick enough, and the hardware for the small legs were strong—-this would've been an beautiful tv stand. Furthermore, if you ever have to move this tv stand you will always have to do a two-man carry by lifting both end's by the wood for any movement whatsoever.  For the price I expect better craftsmanship.
