Very Nice Book Case

Already owned 1 of these, and liked it so much, I bought 2 more bookcases. The dark wood looks nice, as it matches my baseboards, and doors in my room. Easy instructions, can be put together by one person. Doesn't look like other "cheap" wood particle cases I've seen.

This is a great sturdy bookshelf and easy to put together. I have always preferred Sauder because their quality is excellent. My shipment came much faster than expected and the box was so well packaged that not a corner was damaged - a common problem I've had with other online stores. A great buy and extremely affordable!

Excellent quality

Relative robust construction, easy to assemble with a nice cherry finish

Previously owned others and bought again

Very sturdy and upscale looking bookcase for one that you have to assemble. Excellent packaging from the manufacturer. Nothing was scratched and there were no missing parts. We would buy this one again in a heartbeat if we had a spot for it!

This was almost heavier than one person could handle, which resulted in a dent or 2 in hidden spots. Once together, it seems very sturdy. Has more style than expected for the price. Shelf depth is generous, though lip edge interferes with wider objects hanging over.

Holds lots of stuff

The furniture arrived with a missing back piece and others slightly damaged. For the price and my utilization I wasn't too worried about the damaged pieces but the missing back piece makes the shelf wobbly and unusable.  It is made of compressed wood then laminated with wood print.  This isn't centerpiece furniture but should be useable if complete.

Contacted support twice to help and received no response.  Now I received an email to review the product so I am here giving my earnest opinion. Without that piece giving the unit some stability this is just a pile of compressed wood garbage.
