I love this TV stand! Great value for the money. The instruction manual was easy to follow. I'm very happy with the product. The box was very heavy though, so I definitely suggest delivery.

Nice piece of furniture

I have not put a piece of furniture together in over 20 years. I'm going through a legal separation and bought this TV stand and some other matching pieces for my teenage son's room. I specifically sought out the Sauder brand because I remember from long long ago that their instructions are good. And, now the furniture looks even better too. OK, so everyone who complains about how something is too hard to put together. Please, just know that ALL of this furniture that needs assembly is hard to put together. Proper detailed instructions (like what Sauder provides) is a perk. And, I put this thing together by myself (a 48 yr old woman) w/no help and no mistakes. Here's a few tips... * Get a bunch of small cups and sort out all the different screws and thingies into the separate cups before you start * Read the instructions and re-read the instructions, always refer back to the parts list, lay out the pieces and do it in the exact order that the instructions say. * Don't try to get creative and do it in a different order than the instructions. Just follow the instructions. * Do it at a time when you have time. * And, if you're like me, a martini on the rocks goes well w/this sort of a project. For me, it took 6 hours to put together. But, that includes the break for nachos (which is actually in the instructions - Sauder has a good sense of humor) and time dancing around the room after finishing each step. Plus, re-filling that martini on the rocks cause the ice kept melting. Anyway, Sauder did not let me down. My confidence in building furniture has gone through the roof. This TV/Media Stand looks terrific. They actually call it 'A Stand for the Idiot Box'. You just gotta love their sense of humor. Yes, it's particle board or whatever you call it (that fake wood w/a veneer). But, that should be expected for the price. That's what Sauder makes & they do a great job at it. Super pleased w/this piece and excited to make the desk & nightstand!
