This bookcase/shelving unit it big, sturdy, and beautiful!! Took me a hot minute to put it together but, worth it! I'm very impressed with the quality of this furniture in comparison to the price. I'm very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend it!

I was looking for a shelf to place between the two windows in my office, one that could hold a lot of books that were scattered throughout the house.  This fit the bill!  It is narrow (but not too narrow) and deep enough for all sizes of books.  It is very stable so I can also store things on the very top shelf.  Very easy to assemble and very sturdy.  Would definitely recommend.

We ordered 2 units and placed them on each side of a double window in our office. They were easy to assemble, really accommodate our needs and look awesome. Highly recommend if your plan is to display a lot of items with very reasonable effort and price.

The directions were very well explained enough so that I did not have difficulty putting this together myself. I was so pleased with the look of the ladder bookshelf that I would recommend it to anyone.

This is a beautiful open bookshelf. I can't speak on the assembly because I had somebody do it for me, but it did come in a lot of parts so if you are not handy, I recommend getting someone to do it for you. It does not feel cheap. It has weight to it and it looks very nice. It's a white wash stained wood.

This  bookcase is so much more than I expected for the price.. I love it!  It's very sturdy and holds up all my pottery pieces.. I'm seriously thinking of getting a second one.. I would highly recommended this bookshelf

excellent 5 stars

We were missing 2 parts for assembly.  Was able to get similar parts at local ACE Hardware.  The need to run out and find parts to work was frustrating!

Nice looking and sturdy

Color is definitely darker than pictured and a very cool tone of brown. Got it for my son's room and the rest of his furniture is warm so that was disappointing. My son loves it tho so it's here to stay.  Just be mindful of the color.

Sturdy but not true to color

The shelves look good when you finally get them up. It is unduly difficult to set up. And
it is not engineered well. I bought 2. In case the holes did not accurately line up. the veneer
on the particle board chipped and cracked during assemble. And let me note, I worked slowly on this. The instructions could have been better written.
