[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bar stools are affordable, give a cottage look that is trendy right now, and have the swivel design which was something we wanted in our stools. But they are difficult to put together, when doing the legs. You are basically screwing in the screws without pilot holes and it pushes the wood apart and cracks it. Not very descriptive in the instructions for tips or describing that. I ended up drilling pilot holes and then screwing in while holding lots of pressure and that worked. The wood tone could be a little cooler. Otherwise, affordable wood barstool. Also two of mine came with nicks in the finish on the edge of the back but after how hard they were to put together, I am not taking them apart.

Nice looking, difficult assembly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Assembly instructions were clear and the holes lined up pretty well, but keeping the pieces fitted together was difficult for one person. One stool was assembled with hand tools and the cross braces did not fit tightly with the legs. Trying to tighten with a driver afterwards seemed to stress the cross pieces, so I did not proceed. The other one was assembled using a driver and though the fit was better-looking, this one of our two stools has broken after a few weeks of occasional use.  Maybe if I had pre-drilled pilot holes, it would not have broken. Overall, this product is okay for the money,  Be careful not to over or under tighten during assembly and use wood glue to strengthen the cross piece connections..

Looks pretty good, but can be fragile

A maintence man, put it together, telling me it was poorly made, and wouldn't last. Screws just keep coming loose, and it sways, and cracks. I have tightened them too many times, still happens.  These are dangerous, I should return it, but am handicapped and can't . So it will end up in the trash, before I end up getting hurt. You only get what you pay for. Was no deal for me as I am on limited income, and elderly.

As soon as i finished putting the chair together, my kids came and sat in the chair and the chair broke..... Q couple of days later another chair broke.......
