My sister told me about this product so I thought I'd give it a try. The product is readily available at the store and the price is fair. The directions were easy to follow and I had no reaction to it after use.

Review of derma-planing wand kit

I'm new to the dermaplaning world (I've tried once before, but the experience wasn't good because the wands were SUPER cheap), but I like it. I suffer from PCOS, so I have an excess growth of facial hair. Even my "peach fuzz" is ridiculous. I used to "shave" my face using trimmers, but I found myself having to do that 3-4x per week. No one wants to shave their face almost daily, so I went looking for another alternative. I came across an electric vibrating dermaplane device, but there were no blade refills anywhere on the internet, so I wasn't paying that much money for something that I can't even use. I found this one next, and figured I'd give it a shot. $20 for the wand and 6 refills wasn't a bad deal. The wand is beautiful, but the plastic blades do look weird on it. Not a deal breaker though. I can get 3-4 uses out of a single blade, so that's a plus as well. I'm not a fan of the blade design though. I have cut myself, multiple times in multiple places, because the tip is VERY sharp. If you round off the tip, or smooth it out, they would be a lot better to work with, especially for newbies. Also, the price for a pack of refill blades is a bit ridiculous. I can just pay an extra $5 for the entire kit and have an extra wand for backup. I think $15 for 6 blades is a bit steep. But, enough about the item itself, let's talk about my skin. Holy crap on a cracker. I never knew that my skin could be SO soft. It takes me about an hour to do my entire face, but the end result is fantastic. My skin is so soft and smooth, the hair/peach fuzz is almost completely gone (it doesn't take off all of the hair, so keep that in mind), and my moisturizer soaks in SO much better. I used to fight with a greasy face because my moisturizer wasn't fully soaking into my skin, but that is no longer an issue, at all. It takes off 90% of the hair, peach fuzz AND dead skin. I absolutely love it. I'm definitely a dermaplaning fan for life. Fix the sharp tip issue, and cut the price of refill blades, and this thing would be absolutely PERFECT.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the skin care product I didn't know I needed. I have very light skin and apparently I have a light peach fuzz all over my face that I've never noticed. I have also struggled with darker hair on my chin and upper lip. I have tried pretty much everything to get rid of the hair along my lip and it just always shows back up. I received this product after a friend told me about dermaplaning. Dermaplaning is essentially using a razor blade to scrape dry skin and hair off of your face. It sounds scary, but if you watch the video provided with the dermaplaning kit and are careful it has great benefits. After just one use, I removed a mountain of peach fuzz for my face. My face feels younger and smoother. It is slightly red and itchy because, let's face it, I just ran a razor blade across my face, but a small amount of face cream made my skin smooth and glowy.

I would recommend using this product once a month in the evenings when you don't have to go anywhere and you can immediately moisturize. The kit comes with six blades, one metal wand that has a no-grip blade, and a cover for you to put over that blade along with instructions. This kit is going to last quite a while and is a great value for what you get.

This is the best Dermaplaning tool I have ever used and I have tried many.  The handle gives you a better grip and makes it easier to maneuver around your face.  I am definitely smitten with this Dermaplaning wand.  I highly recommend and the price is perfect.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dermaplaning wand looks great!!! Super easy to use and it left my skin feeling so soft from removing the peach fuzz.  You definitely have to follow the instructions by using it in short movements- otherwise it feels like you give yourself razor burn. 

The box mentions “glowing/ radiant skin and helps lotions absorb better”  after use, honestly all I noticed after use was that it had removed the fine peach fuzz. But that was exactly what I needed it to do for me. It did also leave my skin feeling much softer as compared to when I would wax and feel a “tougher “ type skin along the side of my face. 

Overall it did exactly what I needed and is easy to use !

Great dermaplaning wand !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OMG! I am totally embarrassed at the amount of hair that came off my face! Did not even know there was that much on there. The HydroSilk Schick Dermaplaning Wand comes with a silicone black bottomed handle that keeps a good grip. The top part of the wand is a pretty rose-gold metal has weight to the wand making it stay more steady in our hand. It comes with 6 exfoliating refills too! Easy to snap on and dispose of when finished. It has directions in the box and comes with a scan code for you phone if you would like to watch the tutorial. Love that! I found it delicate and very easy to use. My face feels SO smooth after! I love that I can get salon quality service right in the comfort of my own home!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Schick HydroSilk Dermaplaning Wand has a sleek style. Its metal handle is slightly heavier than I expected, but feels nice in your hand because of the shape/contour and silicone grip.

As far as hair removal ability, the blades are adequate for removing finer hairs. However, they didn't work too well on slightly thicker hairs and did cut me a few times. The cuts may be due to the fact that I had trouble keeping the blade at a 45 degree angle though (as instructed by the packaging).

Overall, the wand is good, but I wish the blades were able to remove coarser hairs without cutting you.

Not bad

Opened my brand new package and it is supposed to come with 6 blades and one is missing?? I thought okay was it on the handle already but nope! Is this used? I don't get it?

MISSING A BLADE

I was very excited to have received this product. I had done my research - this was The One. 
Well I'm quite unhappily saying. These are Not the one. I've read directions ( what little are there ) followed said directions and I can do much better with a razor. 
I will continue to experiment to see if I can find a new way.
