The best razor!

I received this razor in my stocking last Christmas (2013), and that time I was 12 and I didn't really know much about shaving and thought all razors were the same. So this got thrown into the back of my closet, and I used the cheap ones that come in packs of 10, or more with 2 blades each. Like the Gilette Daisy ones. They felt like cheese graters! But that time I didn't know...I was cleaning out my closet one day and found this. That was a couple months ago and I was using the Venus Embrace razor, and I decided to give this a shot, so I went out and bought the Skintimate Skin Therapy shaving gel and used them together... I LOVED IT! Never switching to another razor!

LOVE THIS RAZOR!

I got this for Christmas in a gift package from my mom. I was surprised because I have always used Venus razors. But I tried it out and I am glad that I did because I liked it so much more! I get a better shave than with the Venus razors and it really makes my skin soft, I am guessing due to the hydrating gel, which is helpful because I get eczema sometimes. Mine has not broke yet... maybe some people press to hard when shaving?

Love this! Switched brands

This razor works well with its multiple blades. I find the thick handle and big head to be a bit awkward. Also, if one drops the razor (because of being awkward to hold onto), the head will detach. It hasn't broken: it is just a matter of reattaching. Overall, I'm happy with this razor, although I wish the handle were not so thick.

Works Well; Awkward to handle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am currently using this as part of the BzzAgent #gotitfree program. These Schick Hydro Silk Disposables Razor give a a great first impression...I can tell the handle really does the trick in maneuvering over my knees. I was totally impressed that the razor did not give me those normal 'first use' nicks...and I felt I could shave faster than with my last razor. There was a silky feeling afterwards...but then the dreaded stubble seemed to appear much sooner (by the end of the day) than when using other razors. After a few days, the "water activating moisturizing serum" became a gooey mess than blocked then blades and had to be removed. I'm glad these are disposable; perhaps I expected too much for them to last for a week? I do plan to keep giving them a try and will compare them over a similar Schick razor to finalize my opinion.

Great first impression..but that soon faded

I bought this razor with the hope that I had finally found something that wouldn't cause razor burn or allergic reaction. I've shaved four times with this razor and gotten razor burn every time. That's even with wet shaving and using a shaving gel that I am not allergic to. I'm about ready to claw my legs off. 
It does give a nice close shave which is why I gave 2 stars.

Ouch!

HORRIBLE. I do have sensitive skin and always get some razor burn. I used to use the normal hydro silk razors and they were ok but did irritate my skin. I thought I'd try the sensitive, since it claims to be great for sensitive skin. I have INSANE razor burn and it started about thirty seconds after I finished shaving. Im either going back to the basic or trying another brand completely.

I'd rate it 0 stars if I could.

I have been shaving for over 20 years and decided to make the switch from Gillette Venus to the Schick Hydro Silk when it was on sale. Worst mistake ever. I have more ingrown hairs, razor bumps, and nicks with this razor than any other I have tried.  I never write reviews but I am definitely disappointed and don't want anyone else to waste their money.

Worst Razor Ever

Used this razor today for the second time and it ripped the back of my leg up so badly it looks like I have a bad sunburn. I have three (one very wide) bands of razor burn vertically on the back of my leg, so bad I had to use an aloe with lidocaine sunburn ointment just to feel the slightest relief!
