This razor is a 5/5! It gives a super close shave. It does not cut. Silky smooth every time. Yes it is expensive, but it's worth the extra money since it never leaves razor burn, especially in the most sensitive places. I like the way it fits in my hand. It never slips. That has been a frequent ire for other razors. I never realized this razor was such a great buy. So, the down side of this is it only comes with two razors. I thought it came with three. I'm not sure how many times I can use it before I throw it away. That remains to be seen. I am willing to spend more for better comfort.

Schick Intuition 4-Blade Sensitive Care Women's Razor Cartridge Refills 3-Count, lather and shape in one step with aloe and vitamin E

i buy these refills because i need these razors. i dont like to use shaving cream or shaving gel because it makes a mess and i dont have time for that, so this is just the easiest option for me. it already has the lather built in with the aloe and vitamin E so i can just shave quickly without extra steps.

the way it works is very convenient because the soap is around the razor itself and acts like the shaving cream. it feels smooth on the skin and helps the razor glide without pulling too much which reduces irritation and makes shaving faster and simpler. i use it for body shaving and it really helps keep things easy and low effort.

i did notice that if you use the same Schick Intuition refill for too long, the soap starts to run out. after a while it doesnt feel as smooth anymore because the built in shaving cream part gets used up. when that happens you basically need to replace the cartridge because it doesnt work the same without it.

if you keep using it past that point, you can start to get more irritation or small cuts because there is no more protective lather and the razor doesnt glide as well. so i learned that replacing it on time is important for safety and comfort.

another thing i like is that when it is fresh it really helps prevent cuts and razor bumps for me and leaves skin feeling smoother after shaving. the aloe and vitamin E gives it a more gentle feel which is important for sensitive skin and areas that can get irritated easily.

overall i keep buying these refills because they save me time, avoid the mess of shaving cream, and make shaving easier and more comfortable. it is just a simple system that works well as long as you replace the cartridges when needed, and that helps me avoid cuts which is my main goal.

no gel or cream need saves time prevent cuts

The only downside I have to say about these is the lotion strips fade faster than the blade dulls. They work great, stops from cutting yourself, and adds the lotion strips to sooth the skin too. Could be less expensive, but they work better than others like it.

The Schick Intuition razor solves two major issues for me. I have bad arthritis in my thumbs, and this is the easiest handle I've ever used. It's wide but not bullky, and it fits in my hand well. I can adjust the grip in my hand with very little effort. The shave is smooth, and the blade seems to glide more easily than most.


My other issue is a little esoteric and hopefully is not a consideration for you. Four years ago I had my lower left jaw replaced, and without going into too much detail, there have been … complications. This blade is wide enough and has enough lotion or whatever to make the contour issues I deal with less work. This is where the ease of hand adjustment comes in very… handy. 

The only drawback so far is that while the wider blade base makes it much easier overall, it does make it harder to make the fine turns and shave around my nose, etc. So while the wider handle does great like I mentioned, I do have to make more passes in some places. I am considering using a smaller blade for the “fine” shaving.

I'm also not sure how long these blades last. I tend to use disposable blades longer than recommended. I have been using the first blade for about 3 weeks now and about to change.
The Schick Intuition is much larger than some disposables, so if size is a consideration for travelling keep that in mind. For ease of use, I plan to make the Schick Intuition my go to blade.

Wide easy to use handle is great for my arthritis

I've been using these razors for years and still love them. They give a smooth, close shave without irritation and last a long time before needing to be replaced. Reliable, comfortable to use, and consistently good quality — I always come back to these.

I first used this at my sister house as I had forgotten my razor when I went to visit her.
I loved it so much, it was one of the closest shaves I have gotten an no cut marks. I ordered one for each bathroom as soon as I got home along with extra blades. No shaving cream or soap needed to use.

Best razor

I absolutely love these, makes shaving so much faster. Only downside is my hair grows really fast so depending on often I shave one cartridge only lasts 2-3 shaves. Where as if I only shave a few times a month than a cartridge lasts me 5-7 shaves.  I found that if you use your finger in swipe frown no the blade under the water after each turn to rise the hair it helps it not get as clogged. So it's important to rinse shave rinse shave.

Love it. Highly recommend

Honestly not worth the money, it was harder to shave with this versus a cheaper mens razor with shaving cream, and it didn't really make a difference with sensitive skin

The head of the razor  fell apart. I tried several times without  it working. I was afraid it was going to cut my my leg instead of shaving my leg.
