The Playful Foal from schleich® HORSE CLUB includes a play ball that has been specially developed for horses. It has a grip that the Quarter horse foal can hold onto with its teeth. During play the foal mistakes the cute little hedgehog for the ball, but quickly realizes how spikey it is! Luckily neither is hurt in this funny encounter and the two become friends. After frolicking around, the foal drinks from the nursing bottle and has a warm blanket laid over it so that it doesn’t get cold.

Our Grandchild loved her surprise box, it was packed full of your beautiful detailed horse figures. She wanted to play with them right away!

I got this set for Christmas, and I did receive the correct blanket, so that was very nice. The filly in this set is a blue roan, and very cute. The jolly ball and the bottle both fit in her mouth, and the halter fits her very well. The hedgehog is somewhat random, but makes a cute addition to a schleich barn or setup. Overall, cute set. I named the filly Holly.

The blanket was really big, like adult size, instead for the foal. In the picture it showed a picture that FIT the foal. Overall it was a pretty good set. I'm not upset about the blanket pattern, but I do wish it fit the foal as was advertised.

And it's not as realistic as the older horse (early 2000's schleich)
