Although the Tyrannosaurus Rex looked quite threatening, it could hardly use its front legs armed with just two claws since they did not even reach his mouth. Nearly seven metres tall and thirteen metres long, the Tyrannosaurus Rex was probably not a very skilled hunter, but rather a scavenger which probably fed on the leavings of other animals. It had more than fifty teeth measuring more than 15 centimetres in length which it used not for chewing but rather for tearing, since it swallowed its food in large chunks. To improve depth-perception when searching for food, the eyes of the Tyrannosaurus Rex were oriented toward the front such that the fields of vision of both eyes overlapped

If you or someone you know loves Tyrannosaurus rexs they will likely love this. The mouth can open or close which is very nice. The details are amazing and it is a decent size. The quality overall is perfect in my opinion. You will get your money's worth out of it.

Purchased this for grandson, age 5, as reward for good behavior as he "learns to share" with younger brother, nearing age two. As with with all figures in this collection, the Red T-Rex is sturdy, well-designed & beautifully painted. We were especially delighted when we first opened the packing box and the youngest boy said "dinosaur roar."  This was the first time he uttered a two-word sentence! The older boy was over-joyed to discover the figure's articulated jaw and was quick to point out how detailed the mouth cavity is displaying gums, teeth and tongue. The older boy enjoys sharing his dinosaur knowledge with his younger brother and his parents love these teachable moments.

I grew up loving this brand of dinosaurs and knew they were a must for my child as well! They are so detailed and put any other models to shame. Child loves red so this has been the best toy and knowing it will last is just a bonus. If you are on the fence, get this toy, your child is sure to love it!

A Must for your child

Red, blue, green, black or gold Tyrannosaurus Rex figurines are cool.  With arms too small to reach their mouths they fed on Velocirators left overs.  I love the gold one but the other four colors are not far behind.

T-REX Terrific

So, firstly i'd like to point out this Bad Boy (Or Girl, lol) showed up way sooner than expected and I was pretty happy about that. So, Kudos on you Walmart!

Now, as for the figure itself - this is an exclusive paint job of this particular model; and I love it. I kept kicking myself each time I passed it up in person at the store...then finally when I REALLY wanted it; I couldn't find it anywhere. SO...Walmart online store came to the rescue. I just by chanced took a gander and boom.

Took a couple photos; for those interested in seeing it 'live'. Haha.

I would consider this thing pretty playable for anyone wanting to get it for their kids. Its hefty and durable. I'm sure the paint would probably wear off in a few places due to some really crazy play, but that's to be expected if you are giving this to a child. Haha. If you think otherwise, you definitely didn't play hard enough with your toys in your younger years!

Love the colors, looks pretty much just like it does in the photo. Bright 'blood' red with chocolate and black stripes. The feet and hands are a lighter shade for the sake of playing off i'm sure the 'bird-like' aspects many figure makers work with now a days to coincide with current Dinosaur findings. If you are into that sort of thing.

As long as you are not an obsessive compulsive HAS to be 'super scientifically correct' like some Collectors, this is a good addition to any collection. Be it for an adult collector or for a young dinosaur lover who has a penchant for the "King of the Tyrant Lizards". ;)

It is definitely worth the money. High quality hand paint and great details. Don't go for the cheap one at Dolarama instead.

WORTH BUYING

I was disappointed when I opened the package. The dinosaur wasn't in in box or a nice presentation, only in a plastic bag. Also the dinosaur is smaller then I thought. I don't know if I should give it now as intended or buy something else. I almost feel ashamed of giving that thing to a child. But the painting on the dinosaur is nice.
