Battery Charging

This is a very basic charger. It does precisely what it says it will do. There are no 'bells and whistles'. When it charges your battery as fully as it can it stops and shows it is charged. It does not display voltage or any other info on the battery like many others do. If you only need to charge a good battery, this is what you need. If you want to know the condition of a battery when you charge it, you should go for a more expensive version or get a separate testing (load, amps, volts) system.

Have used this brand for many years and have 8 or more I use for the boats, yard trackers,  and for winter time when some vehicles sit for awhile to winter months using the truck and not car and summer using the car and not truck. This one has the Maintenance charge on it which I Like plus the 6 amp charger just in case or really cold/hot weather(s).  At 70 years old I still with what I know and had the best luck with.

Go with Schumacher for sure for home  use.

I purchased a kitchen faucet from WalMart SuperStore,and installed the hardware myself.I had no problems or difficulties in the installation and the new  chrome faucet looks very good.Thanks very much.Shane

I am not sure about all the electronics, but it does have things I really like. It will not charge if it's hooked up incorrectly. It shuts off when charged rather than over charging. It works great so far. Simple to use.

Schumacher battery charger

Worked perfectly. The dead battery in my SUV charged all night and started up perfectly the next day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for my husband, it is a good product.  it doesn't have a gauge on it which makes it harder to judge the strength of the charge the light s on it are hard to see .although it did a good job letting us know we had a bad battery.  also right after we got it menards had the same item for a lot less $.

works for what we needed it for

Does not have an absolute 'repair mode', if your automotive battery needed such. Also, may not be suitable for a 'sealed', maintenance-free battery (i.e. AC Delco).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It goes into maintainer mode long before the charge is complete leaving me with a new discharged battery that cannot start my vehicle.

Doesn't work out of the box

Got the charger about three weeks ago used it two days after that and it charged one battery and then stopped charging completely. This may or may not have been a manufacturing issue please advise.

CHEAP CHARGER , NO SELECTION ON POWER SETTINGS, NO INDICATOR HOW MUCH CHARGE ON BATTERY.   WANT OT RETURN THE 2 CHARGERS
