This was the 1st Spinning Bike I have purchased and I have no regrets. The bike is so smooth and quiet. I use the bike 5+ times per week, and it is very comfortable.

Replaced a 15 year old stationary bike that had a weighted wheel with friction resistance. The magnetic resistance is incredible on new bike and so quiet.

I have chronic Achilles pendants, limiting my running. This is great for cardiovascular workout. I use and enjoy the JRNY upp and its integration much more than I thought. I use it most days.

Everything I expected and more

Good Bike,  the handlebars are hard and cycling gloves are needed. We wrapped all hand positions with soft cushion. Water bottle holder design / location can be an issue. Weights provided are useless.

Good bike, easy to assemble.

My pedal came halfway out on my 10th ride and now I am unable to get the pedal back in as it looks bent/stripped on the inner screw portion of it. The customer service folks were great in sending articles to help me remove the pedal that was stuck. Awaiting a response back with assistance getting the pedal back in so I can ride again, quick response time when I initially reached out, just responded back last night with this new update. Disappointed that a pedal already broke only 10 rides in, less than 10 hour use total. Would have given this 5 stars if I wasn't already having issues with the pedals. Hoping it can be fixed without it costing too much money as I blew my budget in order to get this bike in the first place. #sweepstakes

Love at first use

First, the main body of the bike had two big scratches on it. Not from shipping as the box was intact. Second, it is not very comfortable. I had to switch the seat for my wife but she still finds it uncomfortable and doesn't use it as often as she'd like to.

We bought the IC4 when we stopped going to the cycle classes at the gym. It was relatively easy to set up. It's not quite as heavy as the bikes at the gym, however it is sturdy (it doesn't rock when pedaling). It's well designed to hold an iPad. My only quibble is that, even with the handlebars slid all the way forward, my knees will come into contact with regular sized water bottle in the holder. I use a small one and I barely clear. For reference, I'm 6'1". In summary, my wife and I both use it several times a week. Based on what my research, it was the best value in the "better" exercise bike category.

A good value for the money

Very smooth and quiet ride, which is great since we have ours installed upstairs adjacent to bedrooms. Getting a hang of the ratcheted adjustment system is tricky at first but we managed. I am not sure if our distance tracker is calibrated correctly but I will complete more rides to confirm that one way or another. The bike is compact, not overly heavy to lift but is very sturdy. I think the bike is affordable when compared to other models. Replaced the standard pedals with a set that fits our normal cycling shoes. We are happy so far. Favorite aspects of the bike are: quiet, smooth ride, easy resistance adjustment and overall size.

Pleased so far!

3 1/2 stars. Recovering from a recent Achilles tendon rupture, I decided to purchase an exercise bike because it offers non-weight bearing leg strengthening. I'm in the initial stages of exercise bike usage so my IC4 biking experience so far is minimal. First impressions are the bike delivers a sturdy, solid and quiet ride. On the negative side, there's the fixed forward sweep of the handlebars and the limited forward adjustment of the bike seat. In other words, the IC4 riding position demands a low extended, arms-forward lean that shorter riders (like me) may find challenging because the seat can't be adjusted far enough forward. If you belong to the road bike crowd and are of a certain height, the IC4 ride will likely feel familiar. If you don't fit in this category, find an IC4 to test ride before buying.

Seat Adjustment May Not Be Adequate For Smaller Riders

The IC4 will get you by if you're looking for a spin bike that has a computer, monitors your heart rate, and can connect to Peleton or other apps. My biggest complaints with this bike are that it is a little flimsy, the knobs are a little harder to use (around the handlebars, especially) and settle into the frame, and I hit my knees on the water bottle holders every single time! I'm used to water bottle holders pointing in the opposite direction, but having the bottle holders pointing toward me only creates more opportunities for me to bang my knees on my water bottle every time I ride out of saddle. I've been riding for 8 years now and have ridden different models of Schwinn bikes before. My favorite is the Schwinn AC performance. The IC4 is very very quiet and I love that it can pair with Peloton. It's just not as comfortable, sturdy, and well designed as I expected it to be. It'll get you by.

The pedal came off the first week of use - a couple of days after your recommended delivery company installed. After waiting months for this bike,...how frustrating. When we addressed the problem with Schwinn and explained the problem and then waiting a few more weeks ONLY a replacement pedal was sent, not the whole crank. More calls to customer service, where the hours are very limited, and I have a bike I still can't ride. Read some reviews after the fact and learned the pedal problem is a real issue. This has been a very disappointing purchase.
