I have tried other mounts that didnt hold up to the gravel roads and potholes in my area but this one didnt move.  I attached it to the vent and it has stayed out with out moving an inch.  The phone was secure the few hours drive that we took.  My husband even hit a railroad track a little hard to see how it would hold, it passed with flying colors.  It is adjustable so you can have the view you need for the driver or if a passenger is using it.  I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a solid cellphone holder for the car!

It kept my phone secure even on bumpy roads, and the open design didn't block my car's airflow. The rotating ball joint allowed me to find the perfect viewing angle easily. While very portable and travel-friendly, it can be a bit wobbly on some vents. Overall, it's a sturdy, hands-free solution that works well for daily navigation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was super easy to attach. I like that you can still feel the air flow from the vent so it doesn't block it at all. Only thing is it can be heavy depending size of your phone and can lower the vent a little bit. And you have to make sure the sides its covering your power button or volume buttons because the pressure can cause it to press down on the buttons.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] There are two things I really liked about this phone holder. My last vent phone holder blocked the air flow and made using the vent impossible. This one holds the phone out of the way so most of the air is allowed to flow and you can still use the vent. The other good feature is that is holds my phone securely. Some I have tried do not grip well enough and the phone moves around. This holds it tightly and I have not had problems with movement. Another nice feature is that there are two joints that allow you to adjust the angles of the arm/phone. You can tilt this toward yourself so you can see if better instead of just holding it facing forward. Overall, this is definitely better than other phone holders I have tried.

Good phone holder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off this seems to be a well made and manufactured cell phone mount/holder. Has a long reach that can be adjusted and even though the vent clips aren't spring loaded they still seem to hold on with a tight grip. The reason I dropped a star is because of how the phone snaps into place in the cradle. There's no buttons to push that makes the cradle come apart and has to be opened by hand. Also my other mounts have a button in the middle of the cradle that when pushed by placing the phone in the correct position the cradle snaps shut grabbing the phone, but this one you just have to spread open put your phone in the cradle and just let go of the grips. While driving around the phone stayed in place pretty well but if you have the mount extended out away from the dash then it does bounch around somewhat when hitting rough road. Overall this is a good phone holder but I still like the styles I purchased previously better then this one

Good Vent/Phone Holder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dash mount phone holder works well, and does its job to keep phone easily visible. Good for viewing map directions. It is better than similar older design which I had before. The phone mount has rubber fingers which just push on to the car's air conditioning dash board vent to hold on. This phone mount uses spring loaded clamps to hold the phone in the holder. You just pull apart clamp, put in phone, and tension holds it in. As the new phones got bigger and heavier, my old mount couldn't hold on to vents hard enough and it would fall off while driving. This new design has a stabilizing circle around the clamp to give it more support. While using this one, it firmly held on to the dash vents and didn't fall off while driving. Easy to take phone in and out of car.
The phone holder is adjustable and can be moved around. The phone can be easily turned to hold horizontally or vertically.
Black color matches good and doesn't look tacky on dash.
The only downside is that in a truck on a bumpy road, you will get a little wobble since it is on an extended arm but not too bad. It is trade off for being easily mountable and adjustable.

It has an adjustable clamp that is capable of firmly holding a mobile device
up to three and a half inches wide. It has a solid ball joint that will rotate 360
degrees with angle adjustment. 
This mobile device car mount is made to fit on any vent on any vehicle, that's right, 
it's universal. If your driving your four wheeler or your sports car, you can take this
car mount with you. The vent clip that slides on the vane on your cars vent fits rather 
tight but be careful to only slide it on as far as the width of the vents vanes. 
The first vehicle I used the car mount on, I slid the mount on a little too far and 
accidently caused that vane to pop out from the bottom pivot location. I was 
able to move the vane back to it's original location.
The vent clip is part of the vent ring which still allows air to flow freely past the car mount and your mobile device. If you like talking on the phone or you use a navigation device, this hands free mobile device car mount might be perfect

Free Flowing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Feels much more solid than the umpteen other phone holders I've tried, & has good adjustability. The spring arms are strong & I'm confident it won't drop my phone. Base is a bit too large for my Chevy Malibu's vents though, so only 3 stars. No matter where I place it, there is interference from the vent control or the surrounding frame. This causes it to not be seated fully, so not as firm a grip as I'd like. Still seems to hold fairly well, but wouldn't trust it to hold on a rough dirt road. Like where it sits, & that it doesn't block so much of the air flow. Also note that I can use the left/right vent adjuster, but can't tilt the louvers themselves up or down with it installed..
