Car mount magnetic

I have gone through many cell phone mounts in my vehicles. I was tired of the clumsy , bulky cradle mount with the squeeze sides. The foam wears out etc. I use this with my iphone 5s, but you can use it with anything. It comes with a large and small metal plate. Just attach one of the plates to the back of your phone and attach the mount on your dash. Small and has a small footprint so you can access all of your dash controls etc. I liked it so much, I got additional ones for my other two vehicles. This makes it easy to go car to car and you can use the phone on all the mounts. Fyi, the metal plate it very thin and it does not interfere withanything, it could even go under most phone cases. Thanks for a great product!

There are so many ways to mount your phone to your dashboard or window when u drive, and lord knows i have bought at least 3 myself, and not been very happy. Either they are too bulky, they pop off when ur driving, or u have to take ur phone out of the case to mount it. This is the simplest, most clever idea. A MAGNET. Not just any magnet, bc it is very strong. Works so great, I'm tempted to buy one for every person I know. Works fantastically.

the best ever!!!

If you're like me, and like to keep your mobile phone securely mounted within the field of view while driving, then the Scoshe magicMount is the product for you. This product lets you place the mounting end on any smooth surface, then attach a magnetic strip under the battery plate of your phone (or stick to the outside of the phone if you prefer). The magnets on the mount and phone bond to form an extremely sturdy connection. I was skeptical that this device could live up to expectations especially with a device the size and weight of the Galaxy Note II. Much to my surprise the 3M tape holds firm and so does the magnet. I've experienced no issues with the magnets interfering with normal phone operations. The swivel head of the mount lets you adjust the angle and rotation of the phone to your liking. There's no trying to fit a phone into a cradle. Just touch the phone to the holder and it's ready to go. At a price of under $15, this is a perfect solution for situations where you don't have room to use a typical vent or cigarette lighter phone mount.

A must have

Just stick the mount on and you're done in my case I placed the metal end in between my phone and my case so I didn't have to stick it to the phone works great and holds the phone even over bumps

Simply works as advertised

I bought the model with the dash mount. Easy to install and holds the phone (leather case) like it is glued to it but removing it is very easy. I'm sure if I didn't have a case it would be harder to remove. I used the smaller metal plate on my work phone and it didn't hold it. That phone has a hard plastic with rubber insert case which I'm sure affected the magnets ability to hold onto the phone.

This thing works awesome.

Love this product... I put it exactly where I wanted it and it puts my phone at the right angle to see as I travel. Adhesive works well and it stays where I put it.

Easy to use

I used this for Double-DIN installation in a 2008 Equinox, perfect fit! Much better quality than the Metra kits in my opinion. Also this aftermarket setup works better with my phone bracket that is attached to one of the 7mm stereo bolts.

This kit paired with the $11 Scosche magnetic surface mount and a steel phone bracket makes for a VERY clean look and great function.

Easy to use, looks nice

This mount is great! If you have a large phone (iphone 6+ etc.) or a tablet with a "rugged" case, I recommend trying the one with a stronger magnet. (I have an iphone 6+ and it does very rarely come off when crossing railroad tracks etc.) For anyone who doesn't have a ginormous phone, this is perfect!

Excellent item

It works, elegant looking in my Porsche, non-obtrusive, functions as intended and a joy to install - what more could you ask. Now have two (D & P sides) in all three of my cars.
